So we've got a mark & Me Presents TBA early afternoon in the Forest on Thursday, another early on the Friday, a late Afternoon in the Neu on Saturday and a Frank Turner Q&A and solo set early afternoon on Saturday. Am I missing any? Any thoughts? Would absolutely kill for one of them to be another Hot Mully or Los Campesinos set so that it resolves that awful clash. Could maybe see it being a Mingle Harde set. They don't often have the TBAs be bands that aren't already there, so maybe a Death From Above set? Or Creeper?

It seems like a really stupid clash, even clashing one of them with the Gaslight Anthem would have made way more sense

At least we have actual set times, and I prefer it to last year's by a country mile

Oh and Spanish Love Songs have 2 sets

So Los Campesinos are clashing directly with Hot Mulligan, that is absolutely brutal. Seems like mutliple bands have multiple sets on the same day, like Grandson, The Rumjacks, there's probably others I can't spot right now

As always with Trees the headliners are fairly meh, but that undercard is stacked

The lead singer has a few allegations. They were redacted and an apology was issued but apparently that was because the band threatened severe legal action that the victim couldn't afford to fight and didn't really have enough evidence that would stand up in court

The way the festival keeps saying its the lineup SO FAR makes me very curious...

Surely Enter Shikari are still a decent shout?

That's such a shame, I mean fair play to outbreak for getting such a lucrative exclusive, but Outbreak just isn't an option for me. I hope they still play Trees, but if they're not playing the album it won't quite be the same. Fingers crossed for some dates next year for them to play the album, given the wording of the post

Where did they say that?? Really hope that's not true, surely doesn't make sense to come all this way for a single show??

I'm predicting we're going to get The Hotelier playing Home Like NoPlace Is There as an Axiom headline slot, maybe a subheadline. They've done a tour with Foxing (who are also a potential shout) playing the album in full, they're playing the album at Outbreak which is 2 weeks before, so they might end up doing a bit of a European festival tour and come back in time to play? Also hoping for Have Mercy, they've been touring extensively and are finishing a tour in the US the week before Trees, so it'd give them time to hop over. Both would be excellent fits

Ah, didn't realise Marietta and mewithoutyou have, it's hard to keep track with emo bands, they have a halflife of about 2 weeks. Shame about McAfferty but yeah better off. I know Trees have quite a few emo bands normally, but imo that tends to be on the pop-punk (wonder years etc.) side, this seems a bit more midwest so hoping for some of the afforementioned

So with the first full drop of names they seem to be leaning fairly heavy on the emo side of things, so here's a little wishlist of more emo bands I would kill to see added: Hotelier, Have Mercy, Home Is Where, SDRE, Foxing, Sports, Spanish Love Songs, Mom Jeans, Slaughter Beach Dog, Caracara, McAfferty, Citizen, Front Bottoms (duh), Marietta, Weatherbox, mewithoutyou, World Is a Beautiful Place, Pentimento. I know they're not all strictly emo but still

Now that we have the full lineup does anyone have any reccomendations?

The Twitter page said they were very excited for the announcement to 'reveal his identity', not their. Not many solo acts could headline, Townsend is really the only feasible one

Yeah it's definitely Devin Townsend. Wonder whether he'll be playing a specific album?

Not sure Mars Volta will seeing as they have a big UK tour over the summer, but Aphex Twin are playing a fair few festivals so that's definitely possible. I'm hoping for Alcest (maybe a bit too small), Dream Theater (maybe a bit too big), Between The Buried and Me, Jesu or Godflesh
