  1. Just incase anyone does read this shite... Dear Primavera - if you have to make Freddie Gibbs & Madlib clash with anyone on the main stage, please make it Vampire Weekend and not Deftones or Pulp. Also can Billy Woods please be on after Justice have finished. Thank you muchly!
  2. As well as being fantastic Deftones are in the middle of a 'tiktok' revival and 'the kids' love them - which is not something that can be underestimated these days. I could see Beth Gibbons playing on Amazon in a similar slot to Alison Goldfrapp.
  3. Currently convalescing and I am bored, so finally had a full scan of everything on the main line up so far - obviously it's impossible to get to everything, but it will be some combination of the below for me; Thursday… 16 Acts Pulp / Vampire Weekend / Justice / Deftones / Beth Gibbons / Amyl and the Sniffers / Freddie Gibbs & Madlib / The Armed / Shellac / Arab Strap / Billy Woods / Duster / Mannequin Pussy / Mujeres / Roc Marciano / Wiegedood This just further confirms the absolute clash nightmare as has been discussed - my biggest concern is where they decide to put Deftones and what they choose to counter programme them with, a personal fear would be a clash with Freddie Gibbs & Madlib. This list is mitigated slightly be seeing Arab Strap and The Armed on their own tours and Shellac being the house band. Friday… 11 Acts Lana Del Ray / The National / Clipse / Yo La Tengo / Mount Kimbie / Ethel Cain / Chelsea Wolfe / The Last Dinner Party / Brutus / Gel / Scowl Not the greatest day ever for me personally but still pretty decent. Adding Danny Brown in here would be perfect, so fingers crossed! Saturday… 15 Acts PJ Harvey / FKA Twigs / Bikini Kill / Roisin Murphy / American Football / Atarashii Gakko! / Lankum / Lisabo / Royel Otis / Shabaka / Mandy, Indiana / Militarie Gun / Model/Actriz / Slow Pulp / Wolf Eyes A proper varied day and a lot of acts I haven't managed to see so far, so it should be a lot of fun.
  4. There is still a lovely gap for Danny Brown on the 30th or 31st May en route to a show in Lisbon on the 1st June. No Spanish dates on his tour would seem pretty odd, when the lesser musical hotspots of Vienna and Zurich get shows. Fingers crossed it is the Friday!
  5. I know it's February and we are bored, but can we just start down voting it's posts so it has a hissy fit again please? No point supplying it with oxygen at this point.
  6. Excited to see who else they can procure for 2024, as there are some very decent looking line ups forming for All Points East, Rock en Siene and End of the Road in a similar time period, with already a few known crossovers.
  7. Just do Primavera and Kalorama innit.
  8. We keep going back to how stacked the Thursday is for our tastes. Making sure to catch Arab Strap just before and The Armed just after Primavera at their own shows to take out a couple of clashes, but it's not even the tip of the potential clash iceberg. Fingers crossed for Danny Brown as a late addition to the Friday!
  9. It looks like the National finish playing Australasia in early March and their first gig back would then be the Friday night of Primavera, ahead of a longer European stint. So a pipe opener on the Wednesday would probably be useful for them.
  10. This! Thursday is outrageously good (but bad for viewing), especially in that clash finder! Friday needs some discoveries for me, and a bit more filler. Saturday is grand. Last years numbers - Thursday (9), Friday (8), Saturday (8).
  11. How did the SA shows go down last year? It seems like they have had their hands burnt with Madrid and LA. The lack of bigger Spanish speaking names definitely seems odd. Big hip hop always seemed like a struggle on paper for this year, if it wasn't to be Travis Scott. Whelming is definitely the right word now, but it'll still be excellent when we get there!
  12. These comparing people to Freddie videos are some of the most pathetic things to ever grace the internet. Stop shouting at clouds and go and have Liturgy or something extra blow your ears out instead.
  13. Some more fan fiction from the Discord group...
  14. Well you've just made a mess in some of the older lots pants.
