I mean more, just a big open space with hundreds/thousands stood facing a stage. Not so much the theming etc. Temple isn’t quite like that, I agree. I also understand why they changed things, just a shame they had to.

I’ve not been since 2010 so was a tad underwhelmed with what I found. Just a load of normal stages now really. Thought it was covid related.

Was it that busy? I was there and didn’t even notice

I may end up having to come down separately from our group and not until the Friday. With a plan to leave on the Sunday, that’s some very expensive parking! So, I’m thinking, is there anywhere near by (ish) where I could park for a couple of days and not get towed or piss anyone off! I can give my gear to someone else to take down so a decent walk from a gate wouldn’t be too much of an issue. No more than an hours walk though. Thanks in advance and sorry if something like this has been asked already before.

I’ve not been since 2013 so the lack of fire is news to me. Although I guess there was far less back then already. Real shame as it definitely added something, especially at the pyramid stage for the headliners
