I’ve never understood why festival app designers put so much energy into

functions in that rely on your mobile signal / 4G / 5G being available on site when the site is a black spot.

Agreed....My fav one, is the little kids wristbands......you write you phone number on a wristband, in case your kid goes missing.

Most of the app is set up before Victorious etc.....its just interested if the finding friends option works.

  2. For those with the app.....Map gone live again, this time, its has nearly everything on there.

Most things in same places. Comedy Tent has moved to back of common stage, and Common Stage moved further back.

Looking forward to seeing if the Find my friends function works, considering for the last 10 years its been a mobile Blackspot.

Apologies, I never saw this post so replying 1 month late! It just had some crap reviews - they ended up cancelling the booking as they were already fully booked anyway so still looking for some accommodation last minute. Fingers crossed there are some returns for the student accommodation or we'll be paying £300pn for some dive in Gosport! 😄

No worries. Facebook has a Victorious page "Victorious Festival (Chat, Banter and Information)" Lots of advice about where to stay including people offering rooms etc.......although there is some dodgy adverts too xx

Interactive map has appeared on the victorious app

I had a play with the map.......its early days and appears they have to do a lot more work. Stages have been put in. Not many changes. Kids stage seems to have moved to where the comedy tent was in 2022. There is a unnamed stage on the commom field, which I am assuming is the comedy tent. It appears to be were the old strongbow stage was. (As you enter the common stage from the road, opposite the fish and chip shop and blue reef aquarium. ) And the common stage seems further back as there is no car park behind.

    All this could change.

Also it appears the are doing a find my friend function, as you enter your friends phone number and it locates them to the nearest feet!!!

I've just booked a very dodgy looking Airbnb near the site because I was too slow booking the student accommodation. Does anyone know if cancelled student accom gets resold at any point?

Dodgy in what way? Im a local, and there are a few others who post on here, if its the area, maybe we can give you reassurances. If its the Airbnb, we probably cant help.

Seems slight cost cutting with less acts I guess. Wouldn’t mind it all starting a little later if I’m honest but guess they’ll still want everyone in early to spend spend spend

I agree. After the great line up last year, and them adding the whole site on the Friday, I honestly expected more. Dont get me wrong, there are some good acts, and some of the local/unsigned acts are amazing. It has not put me off, but I am local, so its just a Taxi/Bus ride to the site, and my own bed. I dont have the extra cost of travel/hotels.

Be interesting to see how busy it is compared to previous years.
