I still can't help thinking Foos will headline, after dave Grohl said 'see u next year' at the end of this year's Churnups set.

Hope not! But their tour dates for 2024 would suggest they are in the running

  2. Jake Shears was class this year. Not packed at all, but busy enough to be a brilliant party atmosphere! It was a 50/50 split of his solo stuff and scissor sisters tunes.

  3. Annie Mac was dancing beside us when Jake Shears was on, with her crew and having a great time. Met the main man Michael Eavis in the Icon field around 10.30 on the Saturday night. He was being driven around in his Range Rover. Absolutely lovely fella. We all shook his hand and thanked him.

On the subject of Sticklinch… does anyone know if they’ll be providing a shuttle bus service from the station to the campsite like they do with Worthy view? I understand they didn’t last year but wondering if it has changed

No shuttle bus to Sticklinch.  It's fairly flat and not too bad a walk (weather/conditions dependent) from Gate A

I'm surprised Perfect Sense hasn't popped up in setlists. Feels like it would make a lovely set closer (or at least before the encore). I saw them at Sziget last year so part of me is debating whether to skip them but I do have great memories of the last time they played Glastonbury.

Perfect Sense would be a brilliant set closer coupled with a full live orchestra.

Glad you managed to get tickets!

    Thanks Chris!

Aye, coach from Bristol this year.  Can see by your posts how much you love not only the festival but the area itself, so was happy to see you got tickets back in November.

Plus after the utter gash year that our fitba team has had, we both need something a bit magical to look forward to I think.

Yeah man, it helps, but not sure for just a one off or every now and then. Used to take it every Sunday-Wednesday after going all night/day Saturdays.
Definitely helped make blue Mondays and suicide Tuesdays easier lol!
In my 40’s now, and the couple of times a year I indulge, recuperation involves sleep, tons of fruits/veg and not having to play with the kids for a day 😝.

Should also say if you are on any SSRI or SNRI Meds (usually antidepressants) then neither 5HTP or madman is no good for you.

  9. We have a 2 person Scout available for Sticklinch if anyone is interested, as two in our group have dropped out. We are coming from Toronto, so not arriving until Thursday morning on coach.  Not sure if the lead booker has to be there with the info.  Just looking to try and get some of our money back.  Would be looking for around 350 or a reasonable offer.  Thanks

My signed copy of Divisible by Itself and One just arrived in the post. Read one poem and I'm in bits. Bloody brilliant

I was mesmerised by Kae Tempest last year. I was also right on the barrier at the other stage after Libertines. Chuffed they'll be back and will defo be at the West Holts collaboration. I'm sure they'll do another solo set somewhere as well across the weekend. They're usually a Glasto regular aren't they?

Their set last year on Other Stage was just magical, a real Glastonbury moment.

Can see them maybe doing a reading from the new book somewhere over the weekend.

    Fingers crossed.
