Still waiting for them to announce Aussie or New Zealand shows given we're (mostly) COVID free but probably isn't worth the quarantine time. Although if they start in New Zealand they won't have to quarantine in Australia. Come on PJ 😭

Lol, I only just realised there was another episode after the last one in Vegas, oops.
The Vegas episode is definitely the climax, with the final episode being more of a conclusion. You could in essence not watch it and be none the wiser, but it is a really good episode!

Stupid question but why does or should I say can everyone eat BACON for breakfast at festivals.... Its a nightmare it's the THE WORST THING I can think of after a night at a festival.. Anyone the same or am I the only one...
Pre-vegetarian I also hated the idea for bacon at breakfast. My stomach can't bare the smell of it most mornings, let alone when I'm dusty as all hell.

I have no idea how vegetarians recover, maybe via Stilton?
Glorious haloumi dripping in butter with a squeeze of lemon. Bliss 🥰

No, I'm just old & that's the way I've watched TV for most of my life. I like the anticipation & looking forward to something all week!
I like weekly episodes if it's one of my favourite programmes. It draws it out so I have longer to enjoy it. If I'm in a bingeing mood I'll just pick a show with multiple seasons. Or just watch Parks and Rec for the millionth time.

Was it better than the old tv version?
IMHO yes. The final episode was written by Stephen King and adds a bit to the original ending. I really liked it!
Some of the characters fall a bit flat due to lack of time to really get into them (I think the book is basically a 1,200 page character essay). Harold and Lloid are stand outs as getting a good amount of development. Unfortunately, Nick Andros and Mother Abigail are quite lacking.
*SPOLIERS* Alexander Skarsgaard, as ever, is more than willing to get his butt out for the camera. Something I will never complain about. I quite liked his Flagg (better than McConaughey's anyway). It did a good job at showing his weaknesses so it didn't seem really weird when he was defeated at the end.

Just finished the new lilited series of The Stand. I quite enjoyed it, given the budget limitations. A Stephen King group I'm on was very split but we Sai King fans are fickle creatures!

Controversial take: Neil Young is generally a poor to mediocre lyricist and most of his peers (e.g. Joni Mitchell) knock him into a cocked hat.
Most people are mediocre lyricists when compared to Joni Mitchell.
The broom in Harvest Moon always makes me giggle. What a shit instrument.

I always liked the semi famous Lennon response when asked if Ringo was the best drummer in the world:- 'Ringo isn't even the best drummer in the beatles.' Found out this morning that he didn't even fucking say it. It was all a lie. I'm irrationally annoyed by this.
Oof that hits hard, I also thought that was a real quote.

My life seems to be falling apart today so why not ruin my reputation here too by admitting my deepest darkest secret...
I think Stars Are Blind is a bop and unironically listen to it when I'm stone-cold sober.
