Following the announcement of her hugely anticipated new album due November 19 and the release of her record breaking single ‘Easy On Me’, Adele will play two dates at London’s Hyde Park in summer 2022.

Performing on Friday 1 July and Saturday 2 July at American Express presents BST Hyde Park, these will be her first UK live shows since 2017.

Fans can now sign up at adele.com from 8am on Tuesday 26 October to access Adele’s presale which begins at 10am on Thursday 28 October. American Express® Cardmembers can access presale tickets from 10am, Friday 29 October.

Tickets go on general sale from 10am, Saturday 30 October.

People are taking the bold as a reason to rule her out. Nowhere does it say she is an exclusive. At the time she was signing this it may have been the case but things change. We’ve seen how BST announce exclusive before - they would say something along the lines of “her only UK dates this summer” or “a BST exclusive performance”.

On that wording she’s ruled out purely by calendar: Glastonbury is before 1st and 2nd of July.

Does it matter? If Macca could only play Friday for example would you be upset about that?

    No - I want Kenny - I’m not upset 😂

I was just wondering if it actually mattered or not seeing as he was Friday in 2020. E.g. Sat the big day for TV, Sunday a band the locals like etc.

Alternatively, new acts don't have to deal with the preconceptions and scrutiny of a fanbase who think they know better than the artist what they should be doing.

Exactly my point, leave those preconceptions and fanbase scrutiny at the door and judge a release on its own merits. 😉

This one ain’t for me, but for others it’ll hit the mark.

  4. A crude test when an artist does something a little bit different is to ask yourself: if you heard this from a nobody newcomer, would you still give a shit?

You were never gonna see the top five acts on the poster in their entirety. You’ve gotta make choices.

You say that but they could ‘easily’ schedule it so you don’t have to given:

    a) there isn’t that many acts.

    b) 2 ‘main stages’ on site.

    c) And they’ve nearly managed it on Friday…

I often go back to their set and watch that moment specifically. Wasn't even at Reading that year but the recording is exhilarating. They were playing out of their skin that night.

Mad that The Suburbs had only come out 3 weeks prior as well. Timed to perfection.

And the best version of Wake Up soon after. They really were great.

I remember half my mates went to see Pendulum; regret expressed years later.

Oxytocin is probably the heaviest song she’s made. Either that or the second half of happier than ever.

Yeah fairs, put it on for a second listen now. Maybe it was ME who was somber this morning, ha.

Crikey some tunes on this go seriously hard. Quite interested by the single choices for this release. Not really reflective of the album at all.

Does it go hard? I was thinking the complete opposite. Somber.

This premier league thing should be the case from August when it starts. Literally what is the point is fans being able to go but then making the restrictions tougher? That's just a backwards way of doing it.

Lift the restrictions should align with double vaccine. It is that simple. Yes some people haven't had that but that doesn't mean they won't be able to attend when their time comes.

I know their reliability is questioned, but it can’t be beyond the biggest brains in the land to find a way to make reporting a lateral flow test less easy to fake.

It’s not a rule. Nobody is legally obliged to isolate if they get pinged.

It wasn’t them getting ‘pinged’, that’s just shit reporting. They were in meetings with Saj and were contacted by Track & Trace.
