  1. Ahh that’s brilliant guys, thanks!

Owing to the fact that we are Glastonbury virgins (I’ve never done ONE festival!), how would we go about getting a spot at Cockmills?

We are staying a stones throw away from the eastside postcode given on the website on the Tuesday evening so will be entering from the east.

What time do we need to leave there would you say and what time to queue from to get into Cockmills?

  2. Hi

Just wondering in walking terms how long it would take to walk the pyramid stage from cockmill vs wicket?

How long does it take to get from the park from gate b to cockmill

how long does it take from the car park at gate a to wickets?

  3. Hello all!

Now unfortunately due to today’s heartbreaking news about this years festival being cancelled, this has now made us reassess our...life choices.

My wife and I are not getting any younger (36 and 35). We had thought about having the discussion about kids, and this has now pushed it to the forefront resulting in me acting like a bit of a dick by saying I would go anyway (bad move). I was upset!

So my question is, would Glastonbury be ok having never done it before and never having children before either pregnant or with a very young baby!?

We’d probably still look at at camping in a tent if that’s feasible!

Lots of entertaining and useful info for newbies on here as well https://glastocast.co.uk/episodes/

    Have a great festival.

    That’s fantastic thanks!

Does anyone know how quickly the National expresses buses sells out?

The coach station is next to Ped Gate A. so it's only a short walk in to the site, but it's at the North end of the site so it can be  a trudge if you're heading for a campsite on the other side - is that what you mean by easier?.

Exactly, great info. Never been to Glasto before so we are not au fait with anything. We are just deciding how to get there!

so many options but more sure of the best

Worth bearing in mind too that you don't want to refesh too quickly either as they have technology tracking the refresh rate. If you keep it less than 60 in a minute you should be ok.

This is more applicable if you change device mind you, as it is easy to get carried away refreshing on a keyboard.

What about using a 4g router?

I have an iPhone, by pressing the refresh  circle arrow thingy ? next to the web address at the top, this would just be the same as pressing f5 on a laptop? Or would it be a “hard” refresh like people have said don’t do?

  8. Hi!

I am looking to surprise my wife with tickets to Glastonbury.

I didn’t realise it would be so hard to get tickets!

just a quick question (possibly first of many!)

should i I manually refresh the mobile on 4g or just let it auto refresh??
