    Band announcements seem to come out shortly after midday. Keep your eyes peeled. They still need to announce the rest of the comedy stage too.

    Anyone got any particularly good arena food finds? I tend to find the vendors between the pit and FR are a better than elsewhere in the arena.

    Another water hack. Dont use the basins in the arena, theres some other taps at about knee height, the water gushes out of them (they're right next to the basins)

    No band announcements today now i assume. They seem busy sorting out the ticket mess, trying to get volunteers and telling the kids to be safe.

    I do 2 berocca , 2 sports re hydration tablets and 2 paracetamol. After a couple of years drinking shortly after getting up I realised i enjoy the day more if i wait till i get in the arena before drinking (always in when it open).

    Hindsight is a wonderful thing when looking at previous line ups. That's why I always try out the bands I haven't heard of, especially on the pit.

    I feel for the indie kids that have lost FR for 2 days. I find it a bit strange FR has gone for those 2 days as so many of the main stage acts, their grass roots stage would have been FR.... so lots of people must like that kind of music

    Things we do: Get breakfast from Toby Carvery, you get a huge cooked breakfast for about £7 Get to the arena when it opens and have a poo in nice clean toilets Get a few bags of ice from coop and it seems to keep the drinks cold till Sunday (in a cool bag/box)

    Interested to know the things people do year in, year out to make the fest even more enjoyable.

    Not sure whats going on with that. See tickets is showing my ticket (London) as postponed. Might just be a technical error as it was postponed from the original date. Edit: must be a technical glitch, as you can still buy tickets.

    Just checked BMTH website, they're scheduled to play Lowlands in Holland the weekend before. If you go on that website, they dont have BMTH listed yet....but they do have MGK.... its not on MGKs website.

    Pretty underwhelming. Hopefully on introducing.

    MGK probably hasn't even cancelled 😄 Time will tell, im sure there's a few more twists and turns

    Not exactly a vast gulf between RATM and QOTSA, even if they are booked to the 2nd main stage. Also, we're talking about a change with a years notice, not a week.
