Anyone got any recommendations? Been diving into the lineup and found a lot to love so far. Especially keen for recommendations lower down the bill who slap live!
Just mention a few on my list that I don't think have been named so far:
BIG SPECIAL, Getdown Services, Brown Horse, Opus Kink

Am I remembering rightly that we don't get stage splits and times until gates open for Settlers now? And some hero shares a photo of the programme?

That lineup is stacked! Buzzing!
Agreed! Chuffed with Sampha, specially as I thought he was out.

Not touring this album, apparently.
Ah ok. Shame, just gave it a spin and it's pretty good.

This seems like a good fit for sure.
Really hoping it's no later than St David's Day for the line-up drop now. Can't wait much longer!

MGMT just released a new album this week - could be in the frame for a prominent Green Man slot? Possibly electro-y headliner?

Far more than that, I'd say anyone in a bigger font. They barely even shared notable acts in 2021.
Ah ok. Was specifically interested in Big Special. Went ahead and got tickets to see them in Brum this morning just to be safe.

Is it just the top two lines we can rule out of Green Man from the EOTR poster?

Since been announced for We Out Here so think he’s very unlikely now.
Oh 😞

End of the road announcement next week, will probably give us a good idea of what headliners not to expect?
Keeping everything crossed Sampha isn't on that line-up. Decided they'd be absolutely brilliant at Green Man after reading their name a few pages back.

Most people aren't going to drop £500 to have a slightly increased chance
But those who could afford to would have a greater chance - is that fair?

One of my mates who isn't trying for himself until General has got in 3 times and got 3 groups!

A lot of people seem to have some sort of Stockholm Syndrome with See Tickets. Just because they are not "as bad" as Ticketmaster doesn't mean they can continue with this ramshackle operation and just expect everyone to shrug and accept it. This is not just some insignificant glitch. This is a major bungle and changes need to be made. Maintaning the integrity of your databases and system is fundamental.
People also seem to think there are two distinct options: See continuing exactly as it is now. Or TM employing a queue system.

Jesus. I'll give up after this as, despite your projection onto others, thinking clearly isn't your strong point.
Are you less likely to get a ticket for Glastonbury? Yes, due to sheer numbers.
Did I say that at any point? No, yet you keep deflecting to this for some insane reason.
The Seetickets system works well, you join the queue and roll the dice.
Greenman is a shambles, site goes down, orders don't complete, money taken from accounts but no order etc. so you need double the funds.
It's a circular argument isn't it? Neither of us knows how many people try for each sale, and what ratio are successful for either. I'd say we need this data to say which is objectively the better system.
You seem to have anecdotal evidence of issues with the Green Man system. (And I assume first hand issues previously too?) There have also been technical issues with previous Glasto sales (particularly payments failing or the site crashing at that stage, hence the new system for resales last year).
So again, good luck with the Glasto sale.

Still waiting on those problems with Glastonbury ticket sales that make it worse than Greenman, but just stick with insults if you prefer.
Just waiting on my Greenman tickets with the thousands of others who "just weren't persistent enough"
I guess the sale you fail in is worse.
Good luck in the glasto sale.

Nowhere near as bad as Glasto but just irritating and time consuming. Also whoever really wants one can wait and pick up one on Twickets, unlike Glasto.
This nails it. And I didn't even consider the resale availability.
If you're reasonably persistent and prepared you'll get tickets. Unlike Glasto.

There's a thread on here for Greenman you can just go have a look at it and see that you're wrong
I don't need to read a thread when I have plenty of first hand experience, cheers.

Genuinely curious - what’s so hard about the Green Man sale? It never struck me as a festival that would sell out instantly but maybe I’m way off base on that.
Its sold out within a day the past few times but takes hours. It's not a difficult on sale.

I assume you haven't tried it in a while?
Got tickets the past 4 years with very few issues. Last year was a bit of a mess but still got 8 tickets. This year was very straightforward.

Joe Broughton's Folk Ensemble self confirm. Always a lot of fun when they play The Spotted Dog pub in Brum.
