What silent discos are happening around the weekend and what genres will they be playing? Thanks especially for thursday

Bloc party could be a decent replacement. I wasnt gonna bother seeing snow patrol but a big sing along to chasing cars would be pretty cool

A dick? Really? I’d suggest that if you are the sort of person who gets offended at what was a relatively benign poke at Snow Patrol then maybe the internet might not be for you.

Oh my god i'm insanely obsessed. Glastonbury is literally my favourite place ever i think. So happy, so fun, so free! Will never be bored talking about it myself but i feel like i bore others when banging on about it so much ?

While my initial impressions are that I'm quite pleased with the lineup, there are just a few acts that I would've expected this year that aren't on the bill:
Khruangbin
The Amazons
The Twilight Sad
Weezer
Tool ?
Is there anyone you were hoping for that won't be at the Farm this year?
Defo the amazons and also rat boy

Yeah planning to get there for gates openning but I only know Alice Glass, Health, Idles and Run the Jewels. Who else is worth seeing that won't clash with them?
I love talk show, yonaka and nothing but thieves. More to the indie rock side

I know! I feel awful for those who paid the full price! I managed to get two tickets for Bon Iver earlier but as it’s my birthday on a Saturday, was hoping to get an extra couple to bring a couple of mates along! Can’t find anyone else on o2 though!! Frustrating! I keep missing them or people don’t reply when I ask!
I have 2 for bon iver and 2 for bmth.

If anyone's giving away their 2x BMTH tickets as they can't go, let me know and I'll take them. Coincidentally have the day off work on Fri 31 May and having had a look at the undercard, I wouldn't mind seeing half the acts there...
Yeah if you still havent got any?

Yeah i went first in 2013 but only for the sunday and can't really remember. Been the previous two years though and its my favourite place on earth i think haha! Aren't there clubs in block 9 south-east end that you have to be over 18 for?
-
Is there anywhere you cannot go at glastonbury if you are under 18 (i am 17)?
-
Been in 2013, 2016 and 2017 but only for the sunday in 2013 and was 12 so i'll discount that one. Foo Fighters top, Coldplay, dizzee rascal, Bring me the horizon, bastille

Actually theres usually about an hours difference. You can see Killers and dash to Chems.
Thing is dashing never really works at Glastonbury. Even if you're right at the edge, it'll probably take 30 mins to get from the pyramid to the other. Also, both sets are like to end at the same time and the chems is likely to start later on other than pyramid, so if you wanna see all the big hits that's gonna be impossible. I saw chems last year at board masters and they blew me away compared to the killers in brixton 2017, so in my opinion I think the chemicals will be more of a party and would give them priority if it wasn't for a fucking Mr Brightside sing along with 100,000 other people. Nothing can beat that!

You can keep your Sunday night ruining thoughts away, Chems on the Sunday night is perfect for me and I was very settled with this idea when it became apparent the Prodigy were for the Saturday. Don't ruin it!
I agree! I love the Killers and the Chemical Brothers, and they're really the only 2 bigger bands i need to see. Will be so stuck if they clssh :,(
