Catfish ruled out for HL or nah?
Headlining Truck and NBHD, they’ve got more chance of subbing at this rate

Should have asked if we can get to 250 without talking about MCR
I regret speaking

Seems really odd they’re announcing it as a ‘meet one of the acts’ without having any acts announced bar one

Yeah I wouldn't know where to slot them though maybe 4th down main or radio 1 stage sub. would be cool to see them headline the pit?
They headlined R1 2 years ago didn’t they?

Hope The Hunna are booked again. Can see them subbing main stage tbh
just when i thought this thread couldn’t get any worse

Could R1 announce the announcement tomorrow?
-
Drake could be possible to be fair if they’ve saved money on LG

I'm not arguing doing Latitude makes you weaker, I'm saying Reading booking the same headliner as a festival a third of their size makes it look a weaker booking for them.
I feel like it makes Latitude look stronger rather than making Reading look weaker

How come Liam’s not big enough though? He’s done and sold out Finsbury Park, Old Trafford, subbed at Glasto, is doing Heaton Park ... granted not the strongest headliner but surely big enough?

Catfish and the Bottlemen/Royal Blood
Stormzy
My Chemical Romance
With Sam Fender, Tame Impala and Dave as subs.
I think if Tame Impala play they headline, either co or outright. Their entire show is so much better in the dark and I can imagine Kevin would want to cater to that

GC, DMA's, Slowthai all got to be guaranteed for their growth and pull. Would shift tickets well. Can see The Street R1 headline be a possibility as well.
Sam Fender in this bracket too I’d say unless he gets a big slot headlining the smaller fests. Lewis Capaldi too?

Cinnamon to sub LG has to be an absolute cert.
As shit as this would be there’s no denying how big he is now, can see this happening

This is the last one of these I’m going to do until we get an announcement:
Travis Scott + Bring Me The Horizon / Wolf Alice / Halsey / Bullet For My Valentine / Denzel Curry / I Prevail / Trophy Eyes / Dream State
Bombay Bicycle Club / The S.L.P / MØ
Taking Back Sunday
Liam Gallagher / Skepta / Sam Fender / Slaves / Aitch / DMA’s / Sea Girls / The Faim / The Blinders
Enter Shikari / YUNGBLUD / JPEGMAFIA
$uicideboy$
The Strokes (or Biffy Clyro) / Two Door Cinema Club / IDLES / Slowthai / Fontaines D.C. / The Amazons / The Interrupters / YONAKA / Marsicans
Chase & Status Return II Jungle (closing set) / Rex Orange County / Little Simz
FEVER 333
This would be incredible

Oh no not again
(still the worst festival Choice I’ve ever made, seeing a drugged up RHCP slob their way through an overly long set.)
Were they that bad?
-
guessing it’ll be:
RHCP - Vampire Weekend
LG - Wolf Alice (they supported him at Finsbury Park a couple years back so can see this being the day they play)
Travis Scott/BMTH - Sam Fender
but it’d be nice to see The Strokes in there somewhere although unlikely
-
Any chance of The Black Keys being about? Know they haven’t done any European shows for the new album yet
-
Slowthai to headline R1?
-
Could just be The Strokes, Travis Scott and BMTH outright headlining with no co head?
-
Stormzy doing Leeds arena early September next year, does that write him off?
edit: already been posted nvm

I see Tame Impala are headlining All Points East. Any chance of them headlining with a good undercard? That'd surely sell better than the Friday last year. The place was absolutely deed when Stormzy came on.
they’re exclusive to APE

this would be poorly received imo, neither stormzy or travis have the icon status that the previous outright rap headliners have had. i’m 17 and i don’t know anyone who is that bothered about the strokes, feel like it’s a proper downgrade on 2019 and for me it’s weaker than 2018. would need a very strong undercard
i’m 18 and everyone i’ve spoke to would be very very happy if the strokes were booked

It’s weird, they would probably get away with at least co-headlining but they seem to have pigeonholed themselves into doing smaller festivals instead. Would be a very strong sub
