KoRn have been announce as headliners for the Reload Festival in Germany on the same weekend as Pukkelpop. So seems they still gonna do metal festivals next Summer too. I don't think they're 100% out for Alcatraz but I'd love to see them at Pukkelpop on a nice heavier day.

they're 100% out for alcatraz, it's either pukkelpop or lokerse feesten

Maybe you can check out some of the other acts that day? There's a lot of variety actually.

Soulwax has an amazing live show, quadruple drummers and all. Skepta is pretty high energy, big grime name. Kokoroko is an awesome afrobeat band. Alex G has made a lot of great indie albums (don't know how good he is live though, he doesn't seem to tour a lot in Belgium). James Blake and Cypress Hill are always good.

I'm sure they're really good bands and have a lot of fans, but these bands are just not something I like to listen to. Especially considering that 115 euro can go towards 3 or more indoor shows of bands that I do like.

  3. scorpions are not available at the time.

I'm thinking gojira, even though they have a concert in june in belgium. Ghost (given that they are also the mystery headliner that hellfest has)

or my guess that's way out there: my chemical romance, they have the graspop weekend free due to the shows in russia and ukraine being canceled.

As an eternal optimist, I hope that it's AC/DC for the Friday with the announcement to come only when AC/DC announces the whole of their European 2022 tour, hence the delay.

quite the optimist indeed, I'm afraid the chances are very low. If AC/DC comes they'll do a seperate show on the graspop or werchter field and sell that out all by themselves.

In light of the Hellfest announcement, does it mean GnR could be a candidate for the Friday? Also, how flexible will Judas Priest be about moving to co-headler status on the Sat with the Scorps or Ax7? There are so many bands around mid June next summer it seems impossible for GMM to fit them all in...

guns n roses is in norway and czech republic in the weekend of GMM, I'd say the chance is slim to none.

I think it'll have to be either avenged sevonfold or scorpions headlining friday and maybe a big upgrade on the top side of the bill with bands like five finger death punch, sabaton, bring me the horizon, nightwish and alice cooper

  6. graspop campside will now be the festival terrain, which I think is quite a bit bigger than the normal festival site. Not sure if we're going to have a close camping and then a camping a little further off? But it sounds promising
