Glad youi mentioned that! I was reading that post looking for 10 mins before giving up, would have loved them to be at Reading they were great in 2019

Saw them without a clue who they were in 2019 and they were one of my highlights

Exactly it’s really odd, if NBT open the other stage for the equivalent of two sets it works that they can alternate all the way up

Well they were down to play the other stage originally, so there must be a reason for the change

Has it been confirmed that MSE starts before MSW rather than the other way round? Why wouldn't NBT open the festival on MSW?

At the moment if you alternate the MSE and MSW acts starting with NBT then you end up with catfish playing before AJ Tracey. It would be fixed if there was a secret set on MSW but then that means the same number of acts on each stage, while NBT are likely to play a set the length of two smaller acts. It’ll be interesting to see how it works out

I believe the early entry tickets are being posted IF you ordered them at the same time as your weekend ticket. HOWEVER if you ordered your early access ticket on its own, it will be an E-Ticket.

I don’t get why though, seems a bit stupid since the main weekend ticket is digital anyway

if the other stage is where radio 1 was, how is the no clash thing gonna work? gonna have to sprint between stages. the whole idea seems pretty silly to me

Exactly my thinking, I feel like advertising no clashes is a bit ridiculous if you’ve got no chance of properly seeing consecutive acts. But I guess it would still technically be no clashes

How certain of we of no main stage clashes? Looking back at the announcements I see it does actually only say no headliner clashes 🤔

I think there was an announcement that said no main stage clashes, if I find it I’ll link it but I’m pretty sure it was said.

Edit: Found the post, it was the original announcement for 202193BAE5A1-1174-4D4C-B13B-252BDEB1B0BD.thumb.jpeg.ec1f563131fc3c6f092ec5e067940c9b.jpeg

2019 was by far the worst that i’ve seen. 2017 and 2018 there was still spaces all over white to slot in, 2019 we were the very last row of tents from the arena all the way in white. a good 30 minute walk from the arena. considering how hot it was that weekend too it was absolute hell

First time in 2019, showed up Thursday afternoon since exam results were that morning and we found a spot about halfway along white big enough for 4 or 5 tents, felt like a pretty lucky spot to find since the rest was completely packed. Hoping to get around the orange/purple border this year

Well theres like 10k+ people at each gate queuing. If you want no queue maybe like 3-4pm. To get a good spot i'd say aim for around midday. Not sure when they opened in 2019 but green opened around 1 in 2018 i think.

    Perfect, cheers

If your going to be sitting in the queue on Wednesday at midday, probably white - the walk is slightly longer to most of brown but queue will be shorter. If your coming from town centre, green. If your rocking up later and can pick any entrance, green. White has the car park so if your parking go there as well. If the map changes significantly disregard this but i reckon it should be basically the same

On that note, how early do gates tend to open on the Wednesday. Website says 6 but since it's always early I'm hoping to time it right.

Where have you seen this, say they’re playing the Main Stage on insta

Looks like it’s their facebook, the randl mill posted a screenshot on twitter. Top stuff from them btw.

Not sure about anyone else but NBT being the first act of the weekend is a hell of a way to kick it off

I had a thought yesterday about how the new arena layout could look like. What do you think?
    (1+2 - Main stages, 3 - Dance, 4 - Lock Up/The Pit/FR, 5 - 1xtra, 6 - BBC Introducing, 7 - Alternative)

Anyone else think the main stages look way too far apart here? Billie Eilish's crowd in 2019 made it probably two thirds of the way to the introducing, so that would mean literally the entire main stage crowd migrating across the arena between sets. I'm expecting MSW to be a little east of the introducing placement here

Yeah I'm saying they'd be 7th down and opening. Either way I think NBT's set length accounts for two lower-down acts' set lengths so there shouldn't be a secret set or late addition to the main stage.

Agreed, which to me means that we've got no more acts to be added to the main stage on any day

Lucky mate, I have them dotted about the next 5 weeks. What type of exams are you doing?

Done a set of 45 mins exams for each subject before easter, then got 2/3 of each around an hour before may half term, then all done
