Well you're saying festivals and sporting events are not vital to the economy, I’m saying if you cancel them for long enough then that would still have a massive negative impact on the economy.

im sure someone can correct me if wrong but doesn't each glasto pull about £70M into the economy?

Where’s the best place for breakfast in the morning? Can’t start the day without a good bit of bacon.

there tended to be a few generic breakfast places about but nothing great I found, and the most stale bread rolls ive ever tasted! (actual breakfast fillings not bad - 5/10)

Yes I assume that's why it didn't register on my radar last year. I ate lots of smaller snacks last year don't think I've ever spent more on food but smaller meals. I also had ice cream a lot!! :D

I had completely forgotten about the volume of ice cream I consumed! one of our group would wander off then come back with a handful of them, must have had 3 a day

I bought the entire box set of The Wire on blu-ray having never seen an episode. Managed season 1 and then got distracted at the start of season 2 and never went back. At times season 1 felt liike a very very slow burner without many edge-of-your-seat or cliffhanger moments - does that change at all as the seasons go on?

the wire takes a bit of getting into but is so good as it goes on

everyone that hasn't seen Sopranos... theres an old Italian saying, you fuck up once, you lose two teeth

  6. club Mexicana for vegan bits is amazing, didn't try last year but theyre in a pub in east called the spread eagle and ill always pop in if im in the area - will have to seek them out at G if theyre confirmed now

Are you going to give up your ticket to someone going in a campervan who gets there lunchtime Tuesday? Cos after all you obviously aren’t  worthy if you are not getting there until Wednesday.🙄🙄🙄🙄

Are you going to give up your ticket to someone who gets there on the Monday in the campervan so they can wait nearby so they get in first? Cos after all you obviously aren't worthy if you are not getting there until Tuesday (repeat ad infinitum)

I started again after Christmas on the 13th January. I had put so much weight on over the past couple of years after losing it all I had stupidly put it all back on again. I lost just under 5 stone about 2 and a half years ago. I got down to 14st 3lb from 18st 13lb. Me and the Mrs have been saving for a mortgage deposit over the past couple of years and due to that we have been spending much more time at home than usual and it’s just so easy to raid the fridge. Anyway I weighed myself on 13th January and I weighed in at 19st (was so disappointed in myself), but anyway, since then been doing weekly weigh ins of a Monday and yesterday I weighed in at 17st 1lb so lost just under 2 stone in 7 weeks. Been using a treadmill at home and been running 2 miles at a time on it, when I started a few weeks ago my time was about 25 minutes 30 seconds and about an hour ago I’ve just done it in 18mins 43secs which I know is probably not that fast but I’m getting quicker all the time. Going to up it to 5km soon.

decent work mate! have you tried park run before? once you're up to doing 5k its good fun on a sat morning to get you going and im sure theres lots about near you

So end of February weigh in. I wasn't feeling confident as I have been having a shit time at work and more than once I have decided sod it I can't be arsed cooking and eaten my feelings about work!! However my commitment to my exercise has obviously paid off as I managed to lose 4.6 lb's. That only .2 of a lb away from losing 6 stone and more significantly 1.8 lb's off being merely overweight instead of obese. Fingers crossed I reach that milestone at the end of this month.

6 stone! that's fking decent work there pal! youre gonna be in good stead for 5 days of madness in june!

I wonder who on efests is closest to a case.

Northern Ireland's only case is 3.2 miles from me (been sent to their home as opposed to being treated in hospital).

I've got one about 6 miles from me

@Charm oh no!! hope its not corona and you have a speedy recovery!
