I expect Macklemore or Bastille for the 7th. Maybe Macklemore with Ryan Lewis
I reckon it will be Macklemore too

True....
‘Big’ Name possible for 7th I guess. Hopefully a rock band. Because there don’t really seem to be any at all this year

The last chance for a solid lineup is that they are going to annouce 2 big names for the 7th and 8th.
Halsey is the big name for 8th

I hope we do get a big headliner for the Wednesday as, at the moment, there's not one act playing that I'm interested in. Not the best of opening days!
At this point it could be anyone to be honest.

Raye isn't listed as a (Sub) or headliner, my money is Fred again is Sub and then FA/Four Tet/Skrillex DJ as a headliner
TBH I would have put Halsey/Raye other way round.
Arguably is Raye way more relevant and upcoming than Halsey atm.

I really hate Sziget’s way of doimg headliners. Like wtf even is co-headlining. Reminds me of the office when they were “co-managing”.
There is ONE headliner for a stage, the one that’s in the final spot. That’s why it’s called a “head”, because there is one of it unless you were born in Chernobyl.
This really frustrated me last year when Lorde & Macklemore were put as co-headliners, but Lorde got a 20 minute shorter set than Macklemore did, which was quite unjustified, as she filled 90 minutes at Coura/Boardmasters/Flow Festival. I wish they'd just put her on her own day last year rather than this co-headline nonsense which is why I personally also hate this idea of sharing 2 headliners on the same day, as one of them always ends up with a shorter set

Before everyone starts to sell their tickets...we are still missing hell a lot of acts 🙂
But how long do you or they expect people to keep waiting? We’re at end of March. Flight prices are rising, accommodation rising.
it’s unrealistic to keep waiting now. If they can’t present a strong second wave, then it’s time to look elsewhere.

People literally commenting they wanted Billie & Lorde on Instagram…
After they complained about that last year haha

This way they can have 8 headliners for 5 days on the poster
Yeah, I understand the ‘strategy’. But most of them are not really headliners at all

headliners is one thing. could be better, but its not really amazing anywhere this summer.
but oh man the undercards, so many f**king amazing bands all around, and Sziget could get maybe 2 or 3.
where are all the instruments, eh?
It’s cheaper for them to book solo artists and DJS. That’s why there’s so few bands this year

Im not surprised, with the clues we had, it was already known its a weak one again.
Huge F for the bookers. Their only excuse could be the lack of adequate funds.
They should have honestly tried for SZA, as the female headliner. I know Lana was out a while ago so it would have been the next strongest big name.
what I find particularly concerning is how many names they are ‘promoting’ up to headliners. Liam Gallagher, Stormzy, Halsey, Janelle - all ‘promoted’ to headliners when on a normal year they would probably be subs.

I completely agree but with this lineup i wouldn’t be surprised lol
weird they’re selling day tickets if they haven’t announced the headliner yet
They’ll probably just throw Macklemore in on the third wave, like they do every year.

How disappointing.
Agreed. We knew most of them anyway but Halsey as an addition is very uninteresting.
Don’t think it’s much better than the first wave tbh

On august 7 we haven’t got a headliner yet right? Or is tom odell supposed to be the headliner?
I don’t think Tom Odell would headline. He’s probably sub

We're missing the headliner for the 7th
Yep, you’re right.
stormzy / Liam are actually co headliners. I missed that
-
Janelle Monae being promoted as a headliner on same day as Sam Smith.
skrillex as headliner with Fred Again.
others are standalone headliners.
-
Thanks.
Halsey/ Janelle/ Skrillex/Liam Gallagher/ Raye/ Four Tet/ Tom Odell/ Mo/ Lany
for me sadly very average

Any last minute guesses? Think I’m gonna go with Halsey.

I hope they are not the headliner as well, but at this point I don't know if any artist is left who I would be happy with
This.
Anyone who would have been actually exciting seems to have been ruled out. (For the female headliner)
prove me wrong but when it’s Demi Lavato or Rita Ora I’m not going to be dropping my jaw
-
Rita ora is definitely a shout.
Mind you she would be an absolutely awful headliner, but it’s possible. -

She's certainly got a very loyal following. Not sure if she's quite at headline size for a festival the size of Sziget. Suspect turnout would be like The National in 2019.
The National definitely had the smallest crowd that year

Carly Rae Jepson, Megan Trainor, don't know if Jessie J has shows?, Marina (but prob not headlining)
Not sure if Jessie j or Mega Trainor would be big enough.
we will find out in an hour I guess
