yeah! It was definitely worth a wait. Wonder if they're gonna play before or after AM.
Queens live in the dark. I'd say after. I'm hoping for nice crossover from the bands, maybe guesting on some songs.

Can I unsubscribe from this thread?
How about getting back to wild, unsubstantiated and outlandish rumours instead? And c'mon, the motherucking lineup is surely coming in the space of a week or so!
You wouldn't unsubscribe. You live here. It's in your DNA

Even outside of Win's gross behaviour nowadays Arcade Fire would be a pretty shit booking, their last two albums have been terrible.
That's like... Your opinion.... man.

Pitchfork gave Muses black holes and revelations a 3.7 , now I don't believe in anything. /s

Unfortunately, Chemical Brothers just announced on Fest Festival in Poland (August 12th), so we can rule them out.

Hopefully the ACDC rumours have stock which puts them in the grasp of British festivals or stadiums too.
I am reluctant to go back after 2018 though, the queue to get in on the Thursday was insane. Basically had to wait to in Spanish summer weather, had our water confiscated before we got to the queue then another 1-2 hour wait. Mess getting out of there back to central Madrid too, no signs or directions to shuttle buses etc, we ended up just jumping in a random taxi. crazy bad queues for bars, where credit cards wouldn't work and there was only 1 cashpoint nearby!
Lots of sound bleeding problems between stages too which I think is why some acts pulled out(underworld?). I think it was a new venue at this year which doesn't swell me with hope if they are relocating for the third time.
its shame because they put on great line-ups but just poor organisation. People started calling it MadQueue festival.
The amount of people hung up on the failings of 2018. Yes it was traumatic but life has moved on and organisation has improved tons.

RHCP cancel their show in Israël in June 2023. So no RHCP in Europe during summer 2023 (calendar scheduled)?
In 2020 and 2021 they should have played in Israël and Europe for festivals.
Cancelled a concert doesn't mean all European dates. They may have a better offer elsewhere.
Another theory as it's Israel could be a band member doesn't support the government policy of Israel and it's a polite way of pulling out.

Four years gap isn't really an issue for Opener. KoL/AM 2009->2013; Pearl Jam 2010->2014.
Guess we will know soon!
I'm gonna guess he'll announce for Orange Warsaw, just think it'll tie in with his appearance at Primavera better and working the European circuit finishing with a concert in Ireland.
I think he'll be a headliner at Ireland longitude festival which is usually after I-days.
But yeah next week brings news for sure
