What’s the opinion here on Lana’s coachella sets? I really do like the songs she plays and I wouldn’t mind an atmospheric set rather then her trying something she is not to own a 70k+ stage. However, I can’t say I am impressed with her live delivery. I don’t think I twant to make an act of faith, given how good the counter programming will be

each to their own, but being down the front for her Glastonbury set last year was so good (cut off n all) -- special atmosphere imo

Yeah I've been waiting for English Teacher to be announced.  They must be a shoe in somewhere - I reckon Leftfield is a good shout or Woodsies.

  6. Jessie Ware on WH would be fun, reminds me of a convo I had with her a couple months back where she joked about a. being on the farm even if she wasn't booked and b. waiting to be booked headlining(/clashing) just not against another gay icon / repeat of Macca lol.

Just read the tribute to Joe Bananas - has there been a bit of a copywriting mix match :

Glastonbury Festival sends condolences to Ian’s family and friends. RIP Joe Bananas. You always had the blankets – and you always had the tunes.

The Saturday night headliner is a stadium-level artist of global prominence, consistently ranking among the most-streamed artists in the world.

    Has now been removed 👀👀👀👀👀👀

  9. I had 3 extra tokens when I referred a pal, idk if I was just lucky but I won an extra token, so on 4, and then for about 7/8 goes it just kept winning me that extra one back, then a power play entry thing, and then finally on my penultimate token, got 2 tickets for Haim! Buzzing!

  10. I get why as an artist you want to move on from more popular songs over time, but someone like Ben Howard doesn't have more recent tunes that mean you miss the old stuff. I'm chuffed some second album stuff is there but why you wouldn't just play the big stuff from the debut (considering they have 100 million+ streams on Spotify alone) and thus have crowd eating out palm of your hand is a bit odd.... and at glastonbury too! the vibe would be immaculate!

  11. had a totally productive week in prep for my first time on the farm... excitement increasing daily...

sorted hiking boots, heavy duty trolley, purchased new shorts, and sorted a packing list,

need to air out / MOT / clean tent but there is no wind today and just what feels like 30c sun right now so that has been relegated to the week -- alongside gathering misc camping stuff from loft and a trip to Uniqlo / decathlon for bag / rain jacket (to appease weather gods)... will maybe purchase the MOTH espresso martinis too and some LOOP ear protection (if anyone has any recs or thoughts, I'm all ears 😉 )

  12. the clash with j brekkie has broken my heart (considering i missed out on them last year dropping out of primavera), but I cannot miss CMAT on the farm, my most anticipated act atm!

no more virgos and nashville in the tent?!?! class!

  13. Christine and the Queens has released single from his new Mike Dean co-prod'ed album: PARANOÏA, ANGELS, TRUE LOVE, out June 9th! Featuring three (3!) features with Madonna and others with 070 shake...

Seems to be a 3 part, 20 track behemoth! I'm excited! Love him and will be tough to resist him lighting up woodsies one night this year, feel like a special energy is always created when he plays live.

God Kano would be a dream for this line up. Shame no news on a potential album

I heard a few weeks back that his next album would be more 'Jamaica inspired' and that unfortunately he hasn't started writing yet...

I had Caroline Polachek tickets for Brixton which has now been moved to Hammersmith.  They've changed our ticket from stall Standing to Seated circle Row O right at the very side. :s

We're going to complain and try and get standing but thought i'd let everyone know in case you didn't check your ticket type was the same when it was transferred to a new venue!

Same here but Row B - annoyed beyond belief as wanna be in the standing crowd for the album release day show buzz
