I believe he's been booked for British Summer Time in Hyde Park next July, so I'd say there's a pretty good chance he'll headline Glastonbury too.

Cant remember what the Sunday in 1997s horror story was like (my first glasto) but by then I'd had enough!
1997 had no rain at all during the main part of the festival, and by Sunday afternoon you didn't even need wellies.
That didn't stop a few morons from chucking mudballs at Sting though.

I'm pretty sure in 2017 there were secret resales of Tipis and Worthy View yurts, even though there were never any secret resales of actual tickets.
This year it's all been a bit too quiet for my liking.

Hold on a second - Camplight (even going by their own words) were offered space elsewhere - it was their decision not to move and ultimately it's down to them that they're not attending.
Interesting, I didn't know that.

Conversely, I think it shows the exact opposite.
Camplight was a big advert right in the middle of one of the most popular camping fields - Leave your tent, and someone will reuse it.
I can see how a few might think that, and maybe they got peoples' backs up by taking space right in the middle of Pennards. But given the push towards travelling by coaches/train, there will surely be increasing demand for pre-erected accommodation.
When the only pre-erected alternatives are Worthy View/Tangerine Fields at £300+, it's not surprising people opt for a sub-£50 'festival tent' and abandon it after 5 days.
Surely the solution is more on-site pre-erected tents, but in a less popular and more practical location (e.g. nearer Gate A)?

Sadly, the eviction this year of Camplight makes it look like they're not that serious about providing affordable solutions to the problem

breakfast!

I bring my own weetabix, muesli and a carton of long life milk for each morning

Cut your toenails before you go.
It's not going to rain obviously, but walking 10 miles a day through mud in wellies can cause painful blisters on your toes if you don't.

I can only afford to take 2 days of my annual leave for Glastonbury, so I get the coach there straight after work on the Wednesday and return overnight on the Sunday so I'm back at work first thing on Monday morning. I make sure I block out my calendar so nobody puts any meetings or anything important in that day!
It's not ideal but it's a lot better than not going at all!

Last time I packed up my stuff during the day on Sunday and left it at one of the lockups. Around midnight I collected my stuff, headed to gate A and took the 2am National Express coach back to London. Arrived at Victoria around 6am, got the tube home, dropped off my stuff, had a shower, got changed and went to work for 9am.
I'll probably do the same this time.
Sleep is for wimps.

l hope she does Tomorrow Never Dies as it's one of my favourite Bond themes (or was that Shania Twain? - I always get those two mixed up)

Corbyn has an open goal with idiots like may, boris and Rees Mogg as opposition and he is not willing to shoot. He should be fronting the campaign for a second vote and would get support from all parties. I reckon he is fearful of losing votes in the leaver areas of north England. He needs to realise opinions have changed. I’ve always thought that the whole issue of immigration dominated the first vote. Now the economic realities of Brexit are clearer voters opinions will change.
Why would he front the campaign for a second vote when the most likely outcome (Remain) would thwart his ultimate objective of a socialist revolution in the UK?

I'm keeping Springsteen, Billy Joel and Beyoncé as outside contenders

I received mine and the CDs sound great, but has anyone else had incompatibility problems when playing the DVD?
It won't play on my DVD player - I noticed it's NTSC rather than PAL, in case that makes a difference.

Probably not as a headliner but...

Not what I'd really (really) want

It's a pity the festival itself can't cough up a few grand to support the likes of Lost Horizons.
After all, it's the quirky hippy stuff like this that makes Glastonbury so special.

If Macca's pulled out, I wouldn't be surprised if they simply bump up an existing booking.
So Liam Gallagher it is (maybe!)

There were only a few very expensive tickets left for London last time I checked.
Keep checking the AXS site. They've already added a few extra dates today and I wouldn't be surprised if they added more.

For the disbelievers in Stormzy - watch the Brit awards performance and tell me that wouldn't be one of the greatest Pyramid sets you've ever seen.
At least he won't need to bring his own rain this time
