Although a lot of the lineup is banging, I’m not so much of a fan of them putting acts like Peggy Gou and Fatboy Slim headlining there now instead of acts we used to associate with the Park. Feels like, much like Holts of recent years, the unique identity is slipping in favour of it just being another stage at the festival.
Small quibble mind - hope to spend a fair bit of time there. Barry Can’t Swim seems destined to be the ‘why the f**k are they playing that stage so early with little competition’ act of the festival. Will be heaving.
Agree with this. PG and FBS should be nowhere near the Park

This. However wine is shite.

I second the notion you use a stand in ring mate. It will cut your anxiety and stress levels beyond belief not having to worry about losing it in some fail army kind of way.
Good luck though 👍
Nah, don't be a shithouse. Go hard or go home.

It's at the start of June! Would be a hell of a long penalty shoot out to bother you!

I would be nowhere near a music festival if Arsenal ever made it to the CL final again. I've always said its the one thing I would drop Glastonbury for in a heartbeat.
Lucky you'll be OK 😘

Sunday is turning into a mare for me, Avril v Janelle, followed by Two Door v Romy most likely. Really hope Nothing But Thieves are Friday not Sunday as well…
Aren't Two Door in the bin now one of them has gone right wing loony?

Once again Glasto coming up with the goods.

So many good ideas! Feel the vibe on the day x

How early? They'll be done early.

My missus woke me up and me they'd won.
"GOOD." Rolled over and went to go back to sleep.
"Hang on. Which 'they' are you talking about?"

I get what they're going for but it looks odd and feels like it's starting the debate with the wrong focus.
I'm still intermittently crying about that 5 year old Iraqi girl who got crushed 😭

This is the bugger. I've also got potential Bloc Party vs Shania Twain or Tom Odell later addition possibly in the mix. I've told myself I can't miss the chance to watch Another Love.

I’ve said this for years, west holts and the park fields would make a solid small festival for sure!
edit: even the food and drink options would be decent.
I wonder given the demand for Glasto tickets, if you created another festival with WH, Park and Woodsies, with Greenfields and a dance element, maybe in the North, weekend after whether it would give the bands playing those stages a better deal...Imagine if the WH was in an open area that could accommodate way more and the festival was closed by the Legend...

Ah, it won't be for everyone. Suits us as we have a bunch arriving at different times and want to pitch together, which year after year is looking increasingly harder as the day wears on on Wednesday (we have some arriving Thursday too). So, I floated the idea to the rest of my group and surprisingly they all said go for it. If it's shite, we won't do it again! 😁
Only yanking your chain buddy. It kinda skirts on the border of acceptable, so I get your decision fully.

£350 does include the parking! £250 without parking. Reckon we'd get 3-4 Vango Halo 300s on a 5mx5m pitch? Makes it 80 odd quid each if so. Not that bad really for a parking spot close to camp...really depends on what the trek to PGD is like every day. Looks like a handy enough spot though. Never bothered with boutique camping as the tents aren't as good as my own, but this is a bit tempting as I won't get to the festival til Wednesday afternoon and it looks like Lime Kiln has gotten very popular over the last couple of festivals! To be honest, if they actually opened up these fields as general camping, I reckon they'd be popular.
They advertise is as 250. Then add 100 for the parking. Thats 350. f**k that. It's a five person limit for that spot too.

I'd say "Maybe if there wasn't an actual festival on" but even then there's all sorts of artifacts to get distracted by!
I reckon 25 minutes if you're in a real rush and foot traffic is low
Yeah not a chance. 15mins at 9am if the ground is good.
-
If parking was included it would be worth it. 350 quid for a patch of grass and showers? f**k that.
