Presumably they'd go on sale the Friday after the first headliner (or all of them) is announced. I can't remember when the announcement was last year but have a feeling it was relatively late-ish. Would imagine it'll be earlier this year.
Depeche Mode sound like a decent shout to me. Keeps the audience a bit more diverse
Announcement was 1st Feb 2017. Hopefully it'll be a couple of months earlier for next year

@Matty sorry, would quote you but cannot quote on this device. They've just finished a very long and intense tour, albeit quite a few gaps towards the end. With their current growth off the back of the last album, it would make sense they try and release something ASAP. If they did do that run, the only reason they'd be over in the UK would be with a UK tour/releasing the album and having a few shows to promote that, at the time of the year for Community Festival.

Where have you heard Twenty One Pilots are back later in the year? My girlfriend would love to seem them...

From the 20 second video teaser, I got Arctic Monkeys

Theres been US legs added to Foos world tour now. A gap inbetween where they are in Europe. Could go back to US then return for the late summer EU festivals?

40k Capacity.

Friendly Fires tickets booked for April!

I was so tempted to get a pair of Paramore tickets this morning. I just thought £45 quid would be too much. Think I might re-evaluate my decision if a second O2 show comes up

Just saw The Hunna have posted about a new single. They churn out music quicker than one direction used to

Reading have posted on the event for next year that lineup is released later this year.... Do they mean the first names though, or the whole lineup?

The below guess is more what I’d like to see/what could potentially be possible in my eyes. Would be happy if I get 4 right.
Friday
Main
Royal Blood/Paramore (Co-headliners)
Stormzy
Brand New
NME
Bonobo
Vampire Weekend
Saturday
Main
Drake
The Chainsmokers
Panic! At The Disco
Don Broco
Foster The People
NME
Wolf Alice
Crystal Fighters
Sunday
Main
Foo Fighters
Catfish and the Bottlemen
Boy Better Know
The Wombats
NME
Chase & Status (Closing Set)
Phoenix
BIG SECRET
Arctic Monkeys (Secret Set)
Who I don’t think will be appearing (Who seem to be suggested):
Twenty One Pilots (Just finished touring their last album which was released over 2 years ago for nearly 300 shows. I think 2019 is more likely)
The Hunna (Will record a new album next year, but it wouldn’t surprise me if they just churn out another appearance)
Other potentials:
30STM
Fall Out Boy
Kanye West
QOTSA
-
Twenty One Pilots/Foals, The 1975, Arctic Monkeys to headline

As much as I'd like The Wombats to be the secret set, and the FR stage on Saturday morning would be a possibility, seeing as its the 10 year anniversary of their first album. However, they are recording their new album in Cali. EDIT: Actually, I was basing this on what was posted on the wombat insta two days ago and Matts insta 2 days ago - tagging the latter post in Cali. They could be recording in England seeing as they played vfest the other day, and are playing in Binlgey the week after

few too many pre-gig drinks for Tom last night.

Last year Blossoms played the day after their secret Introducing set

Sundara Karma to be the secret set on the introducing stage on the friday? - OR EVEN Nothing But Thieves?
-
Only going on the Friday so: 1. Circa Waves 2. Two Door Cinema Club 3. Declan Mckenna 4. Mallory Knox 5. Jimmy Eat World 6. The Magic Gang 7. Oh Wonder 8. You Me at Six 9. Jagwar Ma 10. Bastille Over the weekend, if I was going I'd like to catch: Blaenavon, PVRIS, Sundara Karma, Everything Everything, Glass Animals, Fickle Friends, The Shelocks, Breaking Benjamin

They say about the a4 restriction, which was at both community and citadel that I went to, however I saw many people at the festival with bags larger than that. I'd like to take a bag to the day that I'm going for Reading and was hoping to get in with it being bigger than a4.

I think NBT could be in with a chance of a secret set on the Friday. That would be good - and they do have their album coming out a couple of weeks later. You've also got Wolf Alice playing down the road in Guildford that evening, so could easily do an early slot on the NME stage. Again their album is also out a month later.
-
Wolf Alice could play early on the friday as the boileroom in Guildford is down the road from Reading

Was a really good day. Mature crowd compared to when I went to community the other week. Managed to catch RY X, Dan Croll, Wild Beasts, Bonobo and Foals. Probably one of the best Foals sets I've been to (my 9th one) and the sound for a London Festival was fantastic. As said above, the travel was shit. I was also travelling back to Waterloo (and I waited till the end of the set, and then had to meet my friend I lost during foals.

I saw Fatherson and Lonely The Brave support Mallory Knox, so don't think theyd be above them!
