    MATTHIAS CHURCH

    Located just behind Fisherman’s Bastion is the intricate Matthias Church (Mátyás Church), the oldest and arguably finest, church in Budapest.

    Built in 1015 in Romanesque style, the church in its current, florid-Gothic style was constructed in the late 1300s, undergoing extensive renovations in the late 19th century.

    The exterior demands attention with its colourful roof tiles, gargoyles, spires and large, geometric windows, while inside, the interior is exuberant, with extravagant details, intricate frescoes, colourful stained glass windows, gold-leaf motifs, and stunning altars.

    It is basically becoming a bigger FIB Benicassim: you could have the festival in Budapest rather than in Lisbon or Paris or Helsinki, you would not tell the difference once you're in

    If we are going with generalisations, I'd suggest that the average young, white, mainstream, British attendee wouldn't give two hoots about Imagine Dragons, wouldn't know who the hell Moderat are and (they boys at least) would give Niall Horan a wide berth.

    I really wouldn't know what the Sziget organisers are thinking, but I think laying the 'blame' for a line-up you don't care for at the door of one nationality is bordering on xenophobia and paranoia tbh.

    It isn't. It's the image of Mimi Webb that was shared earlier - it's clear from the bump in the neck line matching the tshirt she is wearing,

    I'm losing track, who else have we got?

    Billie, ID, Florence - headliners. Just one more - EDM?

    Foals - sub? Any of the others at that level? Two or three more to come?

    A new attraction on the island..? If the color was green, then I'd have thought about a new beautiful green grass 😀 but light ivory....

    It's pretty obvious. They need to combat the dust issue so they're going to carpet the whole island. Makes sense if you think about it.

    He's become a bit of a national treasure in the UK. Really humble, nice guy. Not sure I'm a massive fan of his music but I'd give him a watch and I think he'll be there.
