  1. Constant pop ups till I went to bed around midnight, the site was unusable, no change when I checked this morning around 6:30 but seem to be pop up free right now, like yesterday the address bar looks like it's opening an ad but it doesn't.

    thanks.

A block of advertisers were turned off a while ago so i just wanted to check which side of that line you were ... but those earlier advertisers weren't being served to iphones anyway, so it can't be them that's getting you.

So another block of advertisers has just been turned off, so if you're still getting them in 15 minutes time please let me know again.

Seem to be pop up free, noticed that occasionally the address bar looks like it's going to open a pop up, but nothing happens.

  3. Hey Neil, getting lots of pop ups, using safari on iPhone6, latest version of iOS 9, mobile on 3 network but didn't see what ad it may be linked to.

Yes it's the tapers who are the true turds. Though I must admit I haven't seen much of it in recent years, though that might be because I've not been in a packed campsite for a while. Is it still rife?

Didn't see any taping in Pennards this year, shame as I used to kind of enjoy tearing it down and going on my way. I did see a lot of people pitching their tents really close together with massive gaps in the middle, it was impossible to walk through, incredibly selfish.

  5. Don't worry about heading for the busy camp sites, the popularity is due to location not because something special is going on, most people spend hardly any time at their tents anyway and places like Pennards are just ridiculously cramped, really loud when the music kicks off and possibly a bit overwhelming for newbies.

  6. 2008 to 2015, first few years of not going were through choice but I sadly failed to get tickets for 13 and 14. I wouldn't work the festival so it started to feel a bit like my Glastonbury days were over, didn't want to give up so I upgraded my old computer and fortunately found this place full with lots of excellent ticket day advice, was elated when I actually got through to the booking page and scored tickets, think this forum really helped, so thanks everyone.
Last year felt like coming home, cried happy happy tears after my tent was pitched and it sunk in that I was back, had a fantastic festival and I'm already way too excited for this year.

Talking one of my suggested locations and dismissing it doesnt dismiss the idea

I think my point was more that people piss there anyway.  Walking along the railway line at any time of the day or night tells you this.  Is it better to piss somewhere where it gets collected, or where it goes into the river?  It smells either way...... the urinal could be near the existing long drops (for example near the junction at the bottom of pennards - people seriously cant be bothered walking down that hill in any case and piss at the junction - stick a pot there - wouldnt smell any more than it does now!

If mohammed wont walk ten yards to the mountain to take a wee then move the mountain.

People are using the fence even when toilets are nearby and the truth is there are festival goers who think it's ok to piss on the land and there are those that would never consider it and having more facilities will not change the type of person you are, I suspect the only thing that could help is more public shaming.

Ive still never understood why they dont embrace (kinda) the pissing in the bushes culture.

Its pretty easy for anyone remotely familiar with the site to highlight some key areas where people piss

    - the back of the other stage area (against the railway line)

    - various points along the railway line

    - the back of the pyramid stage along the tree line next to Hitchen Hill

    - the back of West Holts

Wouldnt it be relatively straightforward to run 100 foot of urinal trays there.  People wont stop doing it I suspect so work with them.....

Wont stop the ladies squatting around the place though!

No thanks, turning the railway track into a urinal would be gross, have you forgotten how bad these things smell, I don't want more of them just because a group of bladder impaired morons want to piss everywhere.
