I have recently got this decent pack-a-way day backpack, http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B009T17T96?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00 which while brilliant, from the material/reviews I'm worrying might not be fully as waterproof as it claims, so thinking a spray could be useful?
also read a lot about people re-waterproofing their tents which ive never bothered with before, but might be a good shout, any tips?
EDIT: it's not going to rain, this post is just hypothetical of course..

LOVE these stories!

Despite the fact it's gonna be a scorcher, wellies (and/or good walking boots) are a must..

Just realised I've missed the amazon deal on that cheap 120l rucksack, anyone seen any similar bargains lately? Cheers!
-
Everyone's really anti-flag on here but I see no harm away from the stages, it's a great tent identifier as well.

I posted a recommendation for a waterproof a page back - http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/mens-regatta-magnitude-iii-waterproof-jacket-14-99-delivered-regatta-ebay-2112446
There are quite a few more a couple of pages earlier.
There's also lots of talk of a cheap rucksack, but that may be larger than you're thinking?
Cheers for that, my own laziness for not checking, that's a great find!
Yeah I have my main rucksack for coming into the festival. Just after a practical bag to carry in the day for cans / warm clothes etc etc. Not that we will need warm clothes during the 5 day heat wave

Hoping Arcadia isn't overcrowded Friday night for that amazing lineup. Expecting it will be though. Maceo Plex and Beyer are going to tear that spider a new one!

Almost done now just need a few last minute bits.
Getting the coach so going for a self inflating roll mat do these just roll up like a normal roll mat so i can attach it to my rucksack and save carrying?
Need a good cheap backpack and raincoat as well, as the ones I took last year weren't the best!
Any recommendations for any of the above will be massively appreciated ?

I have seen Dusky a few times now and been mostly underwhelmed, granted they have plenty of awesome tracks out there, which has created a lot of hype, but they are yet to wow me like they seem to wow so many others.

Wednesday is always a blur but hoping to find some cool music this year, along with experiencing stone circle fireworks for the first time. Thursday night is gonna be a mad one, JESuS and Circo Loco at Silver Hayes for sure, as for the day time I need suggestions!

its because of the burt bacccarach announcement, not a bad omen!

The whole of Saturday night is BRUTAL
My top 3 of the whole weekend are suede, PSB and John Hopkins
Can also add deadmau leftfield and Kanye at that time too.
Suede will come out on top with an early dart to glade & try to catch the last few songs (hopefully Everest) of PSB who finish 45 minutes later
Was hoping George Fitzgerald would do an early hours slot somewhere as it is he's playing 10pm Sunday right in the middle of Idlewild or the Who ffs
George Fitzgerald is also playing Beat Hotel 22.45 - 00.30 on the Saturday, although I doubt this helps your situation!

Their best ever lineup imo! Very pleased
I agree, Beat Hotel shows the strength of the overall lineup when it's received hardly any publicity, only has the tiniest of tiny mentions on the final poster, and yet throws out a lineup like this!

Didn't realise it opened at 8am neither! Could be a few post SE corner breakfast cocktails on the cards there !

Nice to see the Circo Loco night at the blues go head to head with the JESuS one at Wow, should take away a bit of the heavy traffic everyone was expecting, I look forward to dashing between the two!

Lineup looking good, finally! Groove Armada will be great in there probably the most likely place I will choose to see them out of the million sets they're doing. Good to see Seth Troxler back and a Simian Mobile Disco (b2b with bicep!!) set too, amongst others.
Let the clash busting commence !
-
So many god damn clashes!!!!
-
Resident Advisor don't half have some pretentious reviews! Can definitely see how the album will divide opinion though, I think it's great.

-
Blown away by the Friday lineup, can't wait!
So many clashes during the night time shenanigans this year though.
-
For house, the Sunday at The Temple in the common is gonna be fantastic! Joy Orbison b2b jackmaster and bicep, all play some great house with some disco and techno thrown into the mix. Although some clashes to be had as over in Shangri La Groove Armada, Skream, Eats Everything and co, have a great looking night planned!
So much to look forward to this year!

Saw a guy propose to his girlfriend on the hill above the park, had a massive banner followed by an amazing brass band appearing seemingly out of nowhere, playing 'All you need is love' by the Beatles. Was an amazing moment with a lot of tears from everyone around!
