    Does it take ApplePay too?

It let me pay by Apple pay for the odd spots that come up after the second "sale" last year. It was the quickest way to pay. I am also very happy to help for others on here.

Which just happened to be the same time social media started to become a really prominent feature of our lives everywhere, not just at Glastonbury because of Emily.

Common problem. Used to be able to just rock up on the day at The Open Golf and pay on the gate. Now it's a ballot for a ticket. No way golf has grown that much as a sport. However taking "the picture" at these events is nearly an Olympic Sport.

  3. Love the Farm was lucky enough to catch them as part of The Justice Band with Mick Jones from The Clash, Peter Wylie, Tommy from Space, John Power and a few others.

They even covered a few Clash songs. Never thought I would ever see Mick Jones do that.

Wasn't he first nominated by Labour?

Labour/Tory just different cheeks of the same arse. Probably not for this thread.

If people want them then as I said it is up to them.

It's hard to very live a life true to beliefs. Said typing this from his bought council house 🥴

  6. A bit disappointed he took one but as is obvious it is up to him what he does.

Even my early footballing hero "King Kenny" Dalglish (I refuse to call him Sir Kenny) took one despite fighting the same establishment for years over Hillsborough.

    Each to their own.

  7. In other news The KLFrs on Twitter were posting pictures of sites where you could scan a QR code.

There was one not too far from ours on Forthlin Road (Paul McCartneys auld house)

Anyway I found it on a post to the right of the street sign. Obviously cant tell you what it was.

  8. Funny enough in Liverpool "Jib" means not to go.

    EG

    "Shall we go the pub"

"Nah jib it" (No) or "Nah I'm jibbin it" (I'm not going)

So from my point of view deffo jib it and

Has anyone on here ever actually won any tickets or know anyone who has?

Mrs Fay won tickets for us last year on a free competition by Vodafone on Twitter.

Bought sh*t loads of chocolate, cider and cheese as well but to no avail (Won lots of smaller Brothers cider prizes)

  10. Last year payment failure ( I was one of them) this year "backdoor"

Always some ill feeling after ticket day.

I just cant see any better way to do it.

If the backdoor problem was big or enough for their systems to be updated I am sure they will be for resale day.

If not we will all be taking IT lessons !!

  11. Not a sniff from our gang and then boom a kind follower on Twitter got us them. Refused a gift from us saying to pass the Glastonbury love on in the resale (Which we will do)

In a world full of bad headlines etc there are some truly wonderful people out there.

Some cheap seats for around £45

Not a massive fan of arena gigs. Normally prefer to stand but if seated needs to be a decent speck.

Will find myself being priced out of most gigs now due to the prices and would never choose to sit miles away from the action.
