  1. I would also like to know the answer to this. I feel like I've missed the phenomena that is Mike99.

His profile says he is from the Somerset, so how many mikes do you know from that area just saying!

  2. I to thought it was poor last year with the amount of stalls and food places and other stuff their compare to other years which is a shame. Also on the music side I do think that after this year line up will big artistes really want to headline V in the future and think it is a career highlight for them? I think not and thus only do it for the money. Plus does anybody know how much is owned by Virgin? As they made a massive profit last year and could have spend some of the money on amazing 20th anniversary and general improvements.

  3. You'd probably be better off getting a ticket near the festival; I'm sure you will be able to pick one up for cheap

It will probably be my ticket! I got an early bird ticket as I thought as it is their big 20th anniversary it will be amazing line up and thus sell out quickly. I think it is the worse v festival line up in history and want to go or do something else with my time/money

  4. I can not believe they have replace the futures tent with a dance tent, this is very poor it should have been as well instead of replace. That was V,s alternative side I have seen many amazing acts which are not necessarily main stream artists over the years. Last year I saw James bay, chole howl, howling bells and embrace all amazing. So another reason not to go this year.

  5. I think the line up is a bit rubbish apart from the headliners, chvches and Mrs Faith. But I am surprised as they is a lot of people on vfestival face book page saying how good it is and only a handful of people saying V has got worse over the years.

  6. After the dust has settle on the the worst 1st announced in V festival history. After members of kaisbian criticised the line up for the last two brits awards, I would love to see they honest reaction and what they really think of V line up And of course what neil honesty things of the V line up.

  7. And Olly Murs is headlining MTV anyways.

Yes it is true he has done a video to saying that he is headlong MTV stage, has it come to this last year elbow (they were so good) to this year with olly!

  8. What can I say WTF! I thought this is was suppose to be the big 20 celebration this year and time to blow your budget and prove you can put on a good show. So where is Noel, prodigy, Florence, faithless and the charlatans they are all doing shows and available at the beginning of the year, surely heads most roll at the booking department!

  9. He sounded miles better than the roses that day.

You are right Noel was so good at Weston and the highlight of ny whole weekend, I remember he saying to the crowd before the started that he was going to be our highlight of the weekend and he was. It was magical

  10. Royal blood in the US supporting the Foo Fighters over V weekend. Shame, I want to see this band live.

You better get a ticket for reading then. I would love to hear them as so many people said how good and loud they are.

  11. I am a bit gutted that it is looking 99% likely that noel will not be at V, so hope and prayer for another nice surprise on the line up. But one good think Courteeners, charlatans, chvches, hot chip and madness have all not been announced for reading so hope at least one of them is there!

  12. Info was brought on here long before the sun picked it up. Both by Neil and posted before that

Thanks for cleaning that up, well a trust neil much more than the Sun and he now's much more about music and festivals than a Sun jouro does

  13. Thanks I did dream it, but I did thought Neil said they were a very strong rumour but now just a small rumour it does seem a bit weird. I wonder if neil is wrong about kaisbian and Calvin heading V in a way I hope he is wrong sorry Neil.

  14. I have not be following Glastonbury rumours as I did not get a ticket again so going yo V 20 anniversary instead but have I missed something as the efestival rumours is saying now is only a small rumour for coldplay. I thought Chris spoke to zane lowe on air to saying coldplay are defo playing Glastonbury this year or did I dream it.

  15. I have a few things to comment on. I can not see blur headlining V it would have been amazing V should have offer them 1million for each show V can afford but it looks very likely there have gone with kassbian and Calvin. Plus kayne west would be an alternative/ leftfield booking are you seriously abcdefg he is a pop star now! Someone like hot chip, pixies, Cure or daft punk now that an alternative headliner/booking!

  16. I really hope that flo is at v she is such a good live act and will be an amazing other stage headliner I can dream. Axwell is self confirmed on Twitter unfortunately. Plus would love to see the courteens but I though they were heavy rumoured for the other festival.

  17. Almost certainly not. Almost certainly nobody.

I think your are probably right on two counts as one of his early songs chorus goes " I will give hugs to you if your were born in the 80s" this is V they will be only a handful of people in the crowd and me who were actually born in the 80s. Also it probably be a towie star who will introduce him!

  18. At least well in my mind there is going to one decent headliner this year Mr Calvin harris he us going to be good so many great songs to dance to and I hope he plays songs from his first album one of my favourite albums ever. Plus interested to see which a list celeb he will get to introduce him on stage last year as will Smith introduced him at T

  19. I know properly that kaisbian are one of the strongest tickets about, but why can we have something different this year as it 20 years and all that. I forgot they are on the so called headline festival router that the music press talk about.

  20. Yes blowing your own trumpet is disgusting so it is lucky I can not physically do it unlike Prince! And yes it is worrying quiet on the line up front as yet again not much info from the PR team they need to provide something to go with

  21. benus80 to headline

I am not blowing my trumpet but I think my band will smash it and get the crowd going. But seriously it Is one of my dreams to headline V as I have been going to V since as a small lad.

  22. Coldplay have played V more than once.

    They played in 2000, 2001 and 2003

Sorry my bad, but they still I have not played for over a decade. Plus I see pharrel is still a rumour when he is playing a festival all the way in Japan the weekend before I can not see him playing both but I have wrong before!

  23. So coldplay has played V once over 10 years ago and mumford has never played V. Them headlining I think it one of those things that is never going to happen in which I am gutted as I am a big fan of the two bands and have never seen them played live
