Could be wrong here but I think there's two. One crew and one artists. Some fellow stewards I met got into the crew bar one year, then they found themselves in a different bar with a load of drinks laid out. They helped themselves to a couple then went looking for somewhere to pay but couldn't find anyone. It slowly dawned on them what they'd done. I assume they then helped themselves to a few more. As they left they noticed security who weren't there when they came in.
Good accidental blag.
(I could be remembering some of the details incorrectly, it was a few years ago.)
Can't talk for more recently than 2019 but then it was crew/artists together I'm the backstage compound with access on the left side of the stage. Officious security on the gate, had no chance with an Oxfam wristband.

As I understand it yes - distance selling regulations

I've read that there was a drop start of May in previous years, was that announced? Or did it just happen?
Fairly certain it was announced and was after the cancellation cut-off date

I could never get the distill to see the drop-down options. Maybe because I was only using the free version 🤷🏻♂️
I recall it didn't in a previous year (2020?), but the free one will now as I've been running it since the first release of places in February and it pings on and off as places are released/taken up.
You do have to be logged in to your profile for it to work though - leave it a day or so and you'll find it erroring as you've been auto logged out

Hey @hurdy did you find a 4th member yet? If not I'm solo and could join if that's poss?
You're more than welcome in! @MatthewTurner are we too late?

Would save on blisters on the F5 finger whilst I stare desconsolantly at the screen showing my inevitable failure as my place at 253963 in the queue ticks down to nothing.
No ta.

I'm a group of three - if a solo lumps in with us would you take that on as a four?

Point of order, Taylor is very much not using dynamic pricing on her tour.
Bruce, however, I'm disappointed in.
She used it on a previous tour didn't she?

Listen, I love a crumble far more than the next man, as my body or my family would attest. I went to them last year for first time and it was every bit as delicious as people said (hence I went again)...
...however, it shouldn't be the tipping point.
There are other fantastic things to eat there, even (I hate to say) other crumbles, but of course the cornucopia of other stuff should be what decides it 😊
There are... other... crumbles?

Lets hope it never is, but it may be for everything else that See sells 😞
Isn't that a decision by the artist ultimately? Noone is forcing Taylor, Bruce etc. into using dynamic pricing so it could be refused by credible acts over here?
Perhaps I'm being naive...

What sort of time did it appear please?

I know they had a prominent slot last year but based on the crest they're currently riding and that they're playing with LCD on the Wednesday I really expected Young Fathers

Emily wants a 50/50 male female split on the first poster.
so I’d expect medium sized acts such as James, Tom odel etc could still likely be there but just not on poster as they are male.
James self-confirmed on radio.
James to headline Acoustic, hence the omission?
-
Can't see something that could be James in a likely slot for them on there?

I wonder how consistently exciting some people's jobs must be? I've got a job that would be considered fairly exciting but it can and does involve some seriously dull downtime. Do other people not have boring periods when they're at work?
My last three shifts with Oxfam were Thursday overnight at Gate D (dull, quiet), early on vehicle gate 2 (unbearably hot, no vehicles stopped) and Monday early on pedestrian crossing on Cockmill Lane (tired people traipsing back to carparks).
I saw three headliners of my choice, was onsite on Monday, had access to crew bars and if I could guarantee those shifts each time I'd never try for a punters ticket again.
-
As above, tethering should be fine. Was in east quiet on Tuesday last year and was streaming the cricket via my phone to a laptop with no issues. If it can handle live video then a normal work connection should be fine. On EE if that helps.

I wonder how many people wouldn't pay their balance if there was no line-up announcement before the deadline!?
Hopefully loads 🤣

Page monitors can help. Browser based ones are best so that you stay logged in by it auto refreshing… distill done the job nicely if I remember correctly.
Does Distill work on the Oxfam page with the list of festivals being in a drop down box? I can remember having it set up a few years back but can't remember if it was for Oxfam or for normal campervans

I've been keeping an eye and seen these come up sporadically throughout the day too. Genuinely concerned that I'd be too absolutely panicked if I saw a Glastonbury spot to actually successfully get it ha
Yeah, I've been glued to it for most of the last two days and seen the same. Think I've seen every one but Glastonbury and BD pop up at some point. I'm sure there have been some cancellations due to friends/partners not getting places so as previously mentioned it smacks to me of holding them back for an advertised Oxfam resale in the near future

We were really lucky with our shifts last year.
We ticked that we were happy to work a late shift (i.e the Monday) and ended up with Thursday 1400-2200, Saturday 0600-1400 and Monday 0600-1400.
The early start was hard on the Saturday (especially as we were at Sticklinch) but went to bed after Kelis in the knowledge that we could go hard on Saturday night!
Have had similar, but with a night on the Thursday instead of the late. Great set of shifts, got to see all headliners of choice. Boy, was that early on the Monday difficult though🤣

Thanks will make sure I'm on early! How long do you recommend trying for afterwards? I'm technically meant to be in a meeting at 11am but have said I'll be 10 minutes late 😅
Have had success 20mins after and four hours after in the last few years.

One of the few times I've been lucky in a Ticketmaster queue and I walked. A ton to stand in Drumsheds is baffling.
Best keepsakes you've ever found or bought at the festival?

Oh, I need one of these. Never spend any time in the markets, need to change that this year.
