  1. When we're in the queue is it at F5 job or is it a wait and hope? I presume because its an 'actual' queue its a waiting game.

Also, if I were to use my tablet on mobile network, I presume this is okay?

She’s definitely adding more Speak Now to the set (wouldn’t mind if she took off some others in place of the actual belters from Speak Now) and I reckon the surprise songs will be SN focused too this weekend. Someone pointed out Paramore have a gap in their schedule so Castles Crumbling could be tonight!
also Taylor Nation has encouraged people to wear purple so wouldn’t be surprised if she brings out some new outfits this weekend on theme!

Separate q - what song would you be gutted to have as your surprise songs? I think if I got Glitch or Paper Rings I’d be a bit sad haha

From what she's said, she won't be playing ones she's done (that she thinks shes done well) again. I don't know if this is just the USA tour though. If it resets when she comes to the EU/UK I don't know. There's not many I wouldn't like to hear but those I would like to are:

    Getaway Car
    State of Grace
    This is me trying
    Clean
    Out of the Woods.

I also think because Paramore support. we'll get Castle Crumbling most nights, as she did with Phoebe Bridgers and Nothing New, which they seemed to play every night as a 'extra' song in the surprise bit.

  3. My guess is she'll add a second song after Enchanted and just do 45 songs. Have a few songs, say 3-4 on rotation in that position and maybe rotate a Speak Now song into the rarity bit, so you get 3 songs.

Yeah that's my thinking. The registration/pre sale codes gauged the demand and they've reacted to that. There won't be any surprises from now in terms of the "overwhelming demand".

Looking at this. Most dates have 3-4 day break in between. 4 days especially when moving country.

I can see an extra Spain date being added 29/05. I can see a London date being added 24/06 (giving 3 days between Ireland). I can see MAYBE 1 Cardiff date being added on the 19/06 but that only gives 1 day break before a a run of 3 shows. As for the August ones, The Weeknd is playing on the 18th of August in Wembley, so I imagine that's the the lot. Possibly a 14/08 date as there's nothing in the stadium at that time.

I think the shows listed are the ones we're getting.

I had a back and forth on Reddit with someone as that was my reading of the FAQ, but they were adamant the code was used up after the first transaction, even if it's for less than 4 tickets. Didn't seem to get anywhere yesterday on who was correct. Is there something concrete to suggest you can spread the tickets? If so, I'd go for two seating right away to get tickets confirmed, and then keep trying for some golden circle ones at another show if they're available.

I feel like if tickets can be split, it increases the odds of bad characters buying 2 for one date for themselves and then trying to get 2 for a separate date to resell.

They’ll just add extra dates, surely

Outside of a few dates I can't see many more being added, maybe 2-3 after the pre sale but I think the extras that were just added are it.

Are you saying that you can’t pick where you are actually sat when buying these?

100%. You'll be able to pick a 'price point' or 'area' and then it'll allocate you what they think is the best seat in that area.

Are any acts offering like a subscription membership service for ‘£x per year’ and that gets you some merchandise, discount from album sale etc, and then first access to any tour dates? Similar to how football clubs operate I guess.

Could definitely see that the route these mega artists go down in future. Guaranteed revenue stream, and means they don’t have to bother with this album and presale faffing.

The only issue with that is some artists just don't tour that much. When Harry Styles finishes the tour he's currently on, he might not play a gig in England for a few years.

That’s a good plan. Think the majority will be rushing for the standing ones and then have the seated as a backup when they sell in a flash. But by the time the standing have gone, I’d imagine the seating will be slim pickings too .. so i like you’re thinking there. Might do the same myself.

Yup that's my exact hope, while people are clicking on the different standing areas and it loading and saying 'no tickets' and then having to search again. I'm already in looking for a decent seat(hoping the bowl, for Wembley)

    That's unusual I'd say.

More often than not all that's available in a presale are a limited number of the worst seats. People then buy them as they assume nothing else will come available. Its a sneaky way of filling up the stadium and flogging the undesirable tickets.

All bets seem to be off for this tour though.

Yup. There's obviously the Midnights sale which I imagine will be a good half of the standing tickets, the restricted view tickets and a fair bit of seated tickets and then you have the 'Verified sale' which I imagine is going to be the full sale.

On the email about the verified sale it says that if you don't get a code for your area, you'll be put on a waiting list. Which pretty much states that any tickets left, you might have a chance to be picked on the day of ticket release to buy them, but won't be told until the day.

I read a rumour that they were doing all standing and wasn’t so sure, but seems to be the case. Interesting move, although given how far the stage comes out, you’re going to have a pretty good view wherever you’re stood.

What are people’s thoughts on this presale? I’m going to be trying for every venue, and seeing we have 12 goes at tickets for 16 dates makes me think there’s a strong chance, but I’ve no idea how many tickets will be available and how many have presale codes? They’re clearly trying to maximise the number of fans getting tickets but the demand is absolutely mental. I don’t tend to do many stadium shows, but this feels like one of the most in demand tours of all time?

Also, Speak Now TV sounding musically like the most different from the original thus far. Particularly the guitars - lots of extra flourishes.

This is kinda my plan, gonna try for as many dates as I can and then if unlucky got the verified sale too. I think if you manage to get in within the first 10 or so minutes and just buy a bowl/upper deck seat you'll be fine. I'm gonna go the route of if I hold out for a standing ticket, I might be out of luck and just go for what ever I can get with a good view.

This is literally the first I've heard of Odesza and I go to electronic music gigs weekly in the UK.

They couldn't have a lower profile right now in the UK

Supre likes doing the 'Well they're known in the US so the UK must just be ignorant'

They're quite well known and spoken about if you're in the visual projection stuff or stage design stuff, music wise, not many people speak about them

Yet strangely ed sheeran is just standing on stage with a guitar and plays to a backing track and the pyramid field was full.

did anyone get upset when Aphex Twin was doing the shows where he started off literally slow on the bpms and just kept getting faster? Nope.

btw, there is a current electronic act thats headlining almost every fest in north america and has a "show" and everything you lot apparently want from a dance headliner. Yet the "i dont get it" crowd would just push them aside cause its not the chems.

I love your constant UK vs USA bullshit you try and pull.

Odesza are doing fantastic things with their live shows that not many EDM acts are doing. They're also not known in the UK at all. In fact I don't think they've done a gig in Europe let alone the UK.

Its nothing about 'I dont get it' its actually 'Does anyone actually know them'.

Jrock is one of my favourite genres and there's Jrock bands doing huge productions, that have been doing so for 40 years, they'll never play Glastonbury, let alone headline and bring their whole show.

The face value eas not cheap. For the above image seats they were about $300 each after fees.

more and more artists are selling semi obstructed or stage adjacent seats and charging a premium because youre "closer" to the stage and artist

The fun thing is that standing tickets for her UK gigs will be less than that.

    Happy independence

I don’t get how someone can moralistically charge their fans that much money to not even see her ‘perform’. I’m just commenting on what is blatant profiteering by the artist - yes I don’t like her but there you go.

if you think I’m weird you should’ve seen Neil on the GnR threads.

The prices mentioned were resale prices and from pictures you can still 'see' her even though its from a side point of view, better view than the nosebleeds.

As for Neil, I'm very aware.

Because it’s an opinion forum - why are you in here?

last time I checked this thread should be in the bin as TS now can’t play Glastonbury - should at least be out of this part of the forums.

I just don't get going to a specific thread when you don't like the artist. That's all.

Let people be happy and excited.

I know the wembley one isnt correct but you still want to argue that people sitting in section 130,230,330 etc at wembley with barely a screen and no proper view of the stage are "in front" somehow. Theyre going to sell obstructed view seating wether you like it or not. Nobody will care as long as theyre in the buildinv. They actually could sell directly behind the stage and theyll get snatched up in no time cause people are that desperate.

How, please tell me how. This is me arguing are 'in front'.

... I'm not arguing that? Infact I'm not arguing anything. I stated and I quote 'I can't see them having seats behind the stage. They haven't anywhere else in the world for this tour'

Then you came in with 'they'll have seats borderline behind the stage'. Which I 1. Didn't disagree with and even pointed out on the Liverpool screen and 2. Wasn't even what I was f**king talking about. I stated 'Show me seats directly behind the stage, behind the LED wall' and you showed pictures that didn't show that.

What the f**k is your problem. Trying to start arguments on a forum about seating charts is f**king weird.

Again, no one is DIRECTLY behind the stage as the Wembley Stadium seating chart is making out. I don't understand how you're not comprehending what I'm saying. The Anfield one does not have anyone behind the stage. The pics that you've posted, have empty seats behind the stage.

Again tickets not behind the stage and to the side of the stage. Making me think the Wembley one will be updated.

As for the prices, that very, very good. None of this 'In the thousands on resale sites' that someone here is predicting.

I can imagine London prices being a fair bit higher but I'm happy with these.
