Really nice line-up!
-
I'm not even going but I'm excited! Woohoooo!!
-
Oh yess for Foals > RHCP!
-
Btw, as Sziget is a 7 days festival, i think that it's totally ok to have one or two small headliners. And LG is headlining R&L.
-
About RHCP and the info from Reddit: if they were playing, indeed it would be on the last day(s), as I think that Chad Smith is involved in this festival: http://www.peaktosky.com/ (7-8 august 2020).
so maybe the info has some credibility.

I think GMM were actually trying to get G'nR, but when this didn't work out still tried to get FNM.
But couldn't RW have waited a bit more to announce them? It's such a strong bonus for the saturday.

I'd go just for the Collosseum vibe ?

Thom Yorke?

Big Thief to headline in how many years?
Can't wait for the new album.

Interesting. I have a feeling a lot of the acts booked may be from this years RW. We could even get The Cure if they come around again, they've a new album out soon (and maybe 2 too)
Or 3 ?
-
For Tame Impala I thnk it'll depend on how their next album is received?
IMO it's not even a discussion for Sziget, they can definitely top the bill on one of the days.

I think Billie Eilish could headline, at Sziget even the sub plays 90 minutes so if they want her she'll make it happen, maybe with guests? She's too big to even headline A38.
I would love a Biffy Clyro - Kasabian - Foals day!
-
Huh, Radiohead!
-
Hmmm as I might actually mae it next year I'll go with a headliners prediction.
Tame Impala
Billie Eilish
The Strokes
Mumford & Sons
Stormzy
The Killers
Christine & The Queens
Some rock, some rap, some pop. I hope there won't be an EDM DJ.

Idles were fantastic. Bon Iver are fucking dire
Was it the case because they played after IDLES?
I like them on record, a lot!

how likely is the strokes at the moment?
I'd say very, along with Tame Impala.

Hello,
Can we use cash at the fest or is it contactless nowadays? I went in 2016 and remember paying by cash.
Thanks

Absolutely gutted. Booked flights from Prague on the Sunday morning especially for the Strokes.
If anybody has any suggestions for alternatives then please send them my way. Refusing to let the incompetence of Dr Music Festival ruin my trip.
I hope you'll find what you are looking for! NOS Alive/ Mad Cool/ Bilbao BBK are happening the same weekend, with BBK having The Strokes so I would recommend that
