-
pyramid doesn't do much for me to be honest, i'll see blur and a couple more perhaps. i've liked it more in the past but this year its lacking bands of any real relevance...
-
amazing mike, looking forward to it
-
yeah probably best, this is some seriously messed up shit though. the nme story looks like a copied and pasted press release, and how could Q have such a different lineup?!
-
http://www.nme.com/news/glastonbury/44875
it seems to have a few more jazz world acts on first glance
-
De La Soul and then Q Tip.
Looks awesome imo.
-
you can alphabetise the lineup though which is pretty cool
-
i reckon we (subscribers) might get it on the monday, the saturday if very lucky.

i'm pretty glad its not them, i didn't mind them but they've attracted the wrong crowd in recent years. i went to one of their last DMH shows in 2006 and it was full of football shirt wearing yobbos; perhaps if i were born and raised in leicester i would have loved it but i didn't enjoy it much and i haven't seen them since then and don't intend to.
going to try and make the fringe this year anyway, (should be) covering SSW for DMU's newspapers music section (i'm the editor) so would be good to write up the fringe too.

i'm guessing Kasabian (who can't be announced until they have played Glastonbury and the De Montfort Hall shows have happened).
Blur - First reunion gig setlist!

i got tickets for the colchester gig but gave them to my parents,
prose: i am a good son for once
cons: i missed the apparent 'best gig of my life' from the sound of everyone that went.
spotify playlist of that setlist here: http://www.agirlcalledsam.co.uk/post/123316938/blur-return
