Off topic but has anyone encountered difficulties bringing medication in with them? I take 9 drugs and I was planning to bring my repeat prescription slip but was just wondering if anyone has had problems if searched.

Have never had problems taking my meds in. Should be all good :)

I know it was mentioned previously, but nothing came of it. Any interest in a Whatsapp group and possibly a meet up at the festival?

My friend Adam Scott Glasspool is playing the Mandala stage on Thursday at 6pm, if you want some chilled out, loop pedal, ambient acoustic stuff.

He's also a pretty active member on here too.

EDIT: I've just seen he's already been suggested!

    You're an active member, m8.

Ah, there's only one 'a' in your username, that'll be why I couldn't tag you!

Good luck mate, will endeavour to catch one of your sets over the weekend

This actually sounds really good to me! Adding you to my clashfinder :)

Aaah, awesome! Worth bearing in mind that my set at midnight on Friday is an ambient music set. Just in case that makes you more or less inclined to attend that one :)

Not sure where his account's gone on here, but Adam Scott Glasspool on Mandala stage is an efester, so be rude not to give him a shout!

Thanks for the shout out! I am indeed playing on the Thursday evening at 18.00. Bringing my A-game.

If you like your acoustic music too ambient and sad to tap your foot to, then I'm your guy! I use loop pedals and all sorts of nonsense. For fans of Radiohead, Bon Iver, The National. Only not as good!

Then I'm gonna go straight to the Avalon cafe to see Loyd Grossman. As is tradition.

One thing I've had huge success from is using the lock up tents as an ATM. Not all places accept cards, so depositing your cash on day one and drawing some out every morning on your toilet trip (they're open 24 hours) is a Godsend. Much less of a queue than an ATM and you get a nice chat and free bog roll with it.

Why do you need so much money for your toilet trips?

Oh god no... not here too... Please, Adam...

On that note, I believe Bison burgers have been served in previous festivals, and I'm not overly familiar with her either.

My son told me something about Yannis telling someone they were playing Saturday, but I was stoned when he told me and can't remember any of the details and frankly I could have dreamt it.

This is hard info I come to these forums for.

That’s over a week. What benefit do they get from retaining the information? Do they think that, by this point, it really focusses attention on the smaller venues? Are they really obsessed with social media buzz? I love Glastonbury, and have for years, but this is the one aspect that really grates

I'm not sure they're just sitting on the complete info. The stage I'm playing on hasn't submitted yet, I don't think, so they probably don't have a full line-up.

  9. Maybe it's just me, but for me:

BEST: Green Futures field. Just love the vibe, and seems like the soul of the whole festival. (Honourable mention to The Park.)

WORST: Silver Hayes. It's just not much of anything really. 2017 was the first year I didn't go there to even have a look around.

there is new one forming right here.

And if there's not, there's dishonest people posting here who probably won't be the nicest to camp with.

It's like Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy but with far higher stakes.

Is Camp Solo infamous? I thought it was still working out quite well?

Having said that, I tend to agree with Neil that having a single group for solo campers who have never met before can't really be sustained forever, since in year two anyone who returns will have been to Glastonbury together, putting any newcomers at a disadvantage that only increases every year.

Yeah, it's definitely working. Maybe I sing know what infamous means?

Glad to see you're back there Adam :) will you be doing a few sets like last time?

Should be! Have yet to confirm days/times but I should do something in the evening on Thursday, and then something during the weekend.

  13. Have been through the NHS here in Brighton, which is possibly comparatively busy. I was in 1:1 CBT sessions within 6 weeks.

Although CBT ended up not being the right thing for me, the process was not as bad as I had feared.
