I have mates onsite doing the Block 9 build, they have been doing it for years, and they told me that the ground conditions onsite are already a fair bit worse than they were in 2016, the last muddy year, described by Eavis as "the muddiest ever".
they arent allowed to disclose any pictures, but have told me where the artics and heavy machinery have been driving is just pure bog and muck.
Check his post history. What a silly billy.
Are we still doing the thing where we claim £5?

Bugger. I'm sorry for not being quick enough this morning.

Hi.
Hi.

In 2017 I got in on the Tuesday evening and asked one of the campsite stewards centre thingys if I could camp right next to their orange fence. Technically in a public camping area but they were really nice and looked out for my tent for me, keeping security away from it. Must have looked from a distance as though I was part of the steward camping anyway. Food for thought.

Will be there with metaphorical bells on. Will drag @PaintedInSand with me.

So the original guitarist isn’t essential to their sound anymore? Right.
Turns out the effects pedal he uses is essential to their sound. The guitarist tried to hide that from the rest of the band for years. It's all come out now.

Adam, when you're as rich as Ed Sheeran, will you fund efests?
Genuinely would, I reckon.

I’m planning to be there on Thursday, love Green Futures so it’s a good excuse to be up that way.
Thank you! Yes, such a lovely area of the festival. Excited I get to camp in it this year!

Hello everyone!
Bit of a (very) shameful self-plug here. I'm playing the Mandala Stage a few times over the weekend, but specifically the Thursday evening at 6pm.
It would be amazing to see as many of you lovely lot there as possible - if it's your kind of thing of course. I make an odd, acoustic/ambient type sound and when I play live I use lots of loops and drum machines and stuff. It's usually at least a little bit interesting - especially a few ciders in.
You can find my music here:
So yes, please come say hi and see if you enjoy it! I'm already bricking it.
Full list of sets in case the Thursday is a clash for you (it is for me too!):
Thursday - 6pm
Friday - midnight (so technically Saturday morning- also no loop pedals for this one going for a late night loose acoustic vibe - aloostic)
Saturday - midday
P.S. I take requests. Including "fuck off."

In a similar boat here. Work has been very stressful and I've also been going through some counselling recently in order to deal with some not very pleasant things that happened to me much earlier in my life. I've been feeling generally down and haven't been sleeping properly and all this is leading me to feel more worried about the festival than excited for it, really. Coupled with the fact that I'm performing and that brings it's own stresses, including the organisation of equipment, sorting my performers ticket (never really properly confirmed until you're holding it, and that only happened yesterday!), rehearsing etc.
Pretty sure I'm just venting at this point, but I'm right with you lot in being unable to feel too jazzed about this year's festival.
Having said that, I think that once I'm driving through Shepton Mallet and get my first glimpse of the festival lights, park up, set up my tent, and crack open a cider I'll be on top of the world.
Hang in there everyone!

Hey man. This is eerily similar to me. My wife and I split in February and were going through the same house stuff, she is buying me out etc. Luckily we're on very good terms, we have a 2 year old as well. But yeah, I'm currently living between my parents and a friends house is taking it's toll mentally before I can find my own place... Which is a daunting prospect. I've gone from knowing exactly what my future holds, to be totally and utterly uncertain.
I feel like I physically need this festival this year to escape. We'll be ok, everything will be alright.
You gotta laugh.

I finally got to hold my in my hand last night. I was suddenly filled with an overwhelming feeling of "holy shit what if I just ripped it up??"
The same feeling I get near the edge of a cliff wanting to jump.Does this make any sense?? Or have I lost my mind in the run up to the fest...
What did you have in your hand, though?
