i've heard nothing
its pretty late now - i'd expect nothing at this point or someone huge who will insta sell it out --- no inbetween
That would be a shame if there was nothing 😭

Any info on Friday 5th yet floating around?
-
Anne-Marie because she’s been there every year.

Its an extra 4 hours of music in the grand scheme of a 3 day festival
Prices aren't going to double! maybe up £10 for the friday tops
Fine.

But are they? Its 33k per day which means more ticket money
dundee was 27k so barely smaller and had the same stages - am i missing something here
My logic was if Friday is a full day now, maybe from 11am, then more resources, so means ticket prices will go up a lot.

Seems very unlikely given it was £20 last year.
Its not like Luton is a massive metropolitan area either.
But if they’re supersizing, needing more resources etc etc
-
Since they’ve made the event bigger I’m now expecting tickets £50-£70 per day tbh

Seems almost certain this is being held in Luton which, as a local, does surprise me.
Great to have something coming to the town, but the R1 Weekend locations team clearly don’t watch 24 Hours in Police Custody! 😅
Great program.

Pink would be a decent shout for this if dates align. Let's her do fifty minutes and bounce.
Would be good, but can’t see it sadly.
Dare I say it but Coldplay could be within a chance if they release ‘moon music’ soonish? -
Has to be Luton surely it’s now been approved?

Initially the plan for 2020 was for them to do Finsbury with Courteeners, Cage the Elephant, Inhaler, Soccer Mommy and Big Moon, which is a bill I might well have ventured along for. But they had to pull that because 2020 and eventually ended up doing 2 nights at the O2 in 2022.
Doing Silverstone on July 4th means that they could be around on Sat 6th for either HP or FP, given both will be hosting concerts that weekend.
Omg I never knew that they were meant to be at FP! 😭. Was seeing The 1975 back then at FP so god knows how I missed the info about Kol.
hopefully next year.

Cher for BST lol…
also I see KOL more at Finsbury Park?

For 1975? Seems their likely next move. Assuming that Finsbury and announced festivals is them done for the year UK-wise (seems likely), maybe a Glasto headline and a run of summer stadium shows in 2024 to close out the BFIAFL era?
Yes. I hope so, perhaps if it wasn’t for covid they could be well into stadiums by now.
-
It has to be stadiums next time surely?
-
-
Anne-Marie has been there every year since 2017 inc. virtually. Give her the headline slot already 🤣

Coventry had sold out anyways, all 3 days... Don't really know what the comment about them not being able to sell it out was all about tbh. Expect Dundee will have no issue shifting tickets either, R1BW never really seem to do, always a stacked lineup and a very low price point.
Depends if Festival Republic decide to hike price up, hopefully not.

TDCC again?

Remind Me is a tune, but I’ve only ever gone into the Dance tent twice one was for Andy C instead of Post Malone and the second was coz it was absolutely pissing it down in 2018 and NBT hadn’t started yet
I love that tune, reminds of waiting for Arcadia show at Glastonbury. It’s stuck ever since.
