  1. hmm seems like it could be legit - although that timing, 10pm... that\s right after Madonna's interview isn't it? :'(

Not sure how the phone call would be from America if that was the case, is she doing a studio or phone interview?

  2. Had my first experience the Sunday of 2014, seeing the 'She-pee' advertisement patterning the sky for 8 or so hours was quite something. Was not expecting that.

    Wouldn't recommend for Glastonbury.

  3. Saw Michael at his gig in bath 2(?) years ago, so do find it quite surprising he hasn't been at the last two festivals. Though I suppose Michael only has so much to do with the bookings.

Hope he was there to see Tim Barry support, would love to see him at the festival.

  4. Mark Oliver Everett - Things the Grandchildren Should Know

This.This.This. Such a great book and incredibly tragic but also funny. My Dad had never been blessed in hearing Eels or any of his music yet still thought it was a brilliant read.

Also as mentioned above, Slash's one is something to behold.

  5. So glad pulp were after them. Blew them away.

Always wondered if they were any better at reading with them playing last.

They weren't, I was bored as fuck and pulp playing before them did no favours, they didn't stand a chance.

  6. Really let down by this album to be honest, really not a fan of the vibe and production.

'Feast and the Famine' being my only current stand out song and one I wouldn't mind seeing live

  7. Some guy lit one wrong or something behind me and fuck tons of sparks went all over my upper body and now I have two blisters one of which is pretty huge which hurt for a few days. Never happened before and could have been a lot worse if went in my eyes.

Though I get the appeal, it does add to the atmosphere.

  8. Yep, don't know if you were at Foo's at Reading but it was awful. Arctic Monkeys were also very bad. Seems to happen with bands and fests with a younger audience..

Aye think it was for the Foo's, seemed to be like it for most acts, apart from The Cure thank god! A lot of the young'uns seemed to think it was boring because the crowd wasn't swaying and moshing to every song, thought they were sublime as usual!

  9. And you sound the inconsiderate ignorant neighbour who couldn't give a fuck about anyone else but himself.

    :)

    haha asked for that one!

I said this in an earlier post but I don't see the problem in starting a mosh pit if everyone around you seems to be energetic and going for it, if someone isn't giving off those vibes nobody is going to start a mosh pit right by them and make them join in. In my experience people are generally considerate when it comes to moshing and I imagine in an atmosphere like Glastonbury this will be exemplified. Smashing Pumpkins last year was a good example.

Problem seems to be both parties don't want their enjoyment to be hindered, but if the moshing is kept to a reasonable size and in an area like mentioned above, it would be ideal for both parties.

Edit: So if the moshing isn't directly effecting you I can't see how you can complain. Also moshing isn't dangerous if people aren't being massive twats, soon as someone like that joins in nobody else bothers pretty quickly because it just ruins it.
