  1. Now this may well be a Glasto rumour...but I was told that some poor guy at the greenfields fell in the longdrops when the wooden seat collapsed. The site team had to have meeting about how best to remove him before they rescued him......but then, it might well be a tale like the pop up pirate,...my favourite Glasto urban myth

  2. Posted earlier today on facebook

Admins festival update: All of the stalls are turning up today! They're not on the site today because they're doing what is called a site sweep today which is where they get everyone off the site who isn't supposed to be there and then lock down the site. The stalls are going to the bath and west to stay until tomorrow when they're allowed on site

let's see how good he is at hiding!

  3. So security has arrived outside my house in Pilton....cue torrential downpour! But never fear folks, it was short and sharp. Now dry, warm and dull.

  4. He he!

Wonder how it works/they are allocated. Could everyone on e-festivals chip in and buy a house and list us all as residents. Get 500 of us to chip in a few hundred quid - free tickets for life.

(Bagsy the bed in the main bedroom as it was my idea). First come first served for the other bedrooms, then floor space in the bedrooms, then living rooms etc etc. Last one's sleeping in the outside toilet!

  5. Glastonbury

food - Rainbows end for great veggie food http://www.rainbowsendcafe.com/

    or La Terre for veggie/non-veggie

    Both on the high street

beer - nothing can beat The rifleman's

    Shepton Mallett

food - The Dust Hole. Nice pub food. The rest of Shepton is a dive

The Natterjack in Evercreech just outside of Shepton has good food too.

    Yeovil

Chav city.........But if you like Italian then Tamborinos is good (at the bottom end of town. Complete with fancy dress waiters and karaoke nights if you're unlucky!

  6. Took a picture of the glastonbury deliveries sign!

I don't mean this to be a blatant advert for my twitter page, but I will be tweeting all the silly little mundane things in the build-up to the festival that still get me all excited! Found myself staring in awe today at a lorry load of those wood offcuts they use around the site.

I don't have inside access or anything, but if you'd like to know things like when the fence starts to go up; when the flagpoles go up; when the portaloos arrive on site; then do come and follow me @wickedfaerie

  7. Jimmy Cliff when he began to sing "I can see clearly now the rain has gone" just as it started to rain again!too many memories of good times and people lost in time. I pretended it was a rain drop that kept getting in my eye!
