  1. Go from the flanks and you'll likely find a way!

I agree with this, has worked a charm for me in the past. You might not get a GREAT view, but you'll get in.

A good number of folks stop and stand by the edge of a tent, and make it look full from the outside.

The only exception was Sonic last year for Fatboy. I got there late and event the sneak wasn't going to work. But it eased up about half way through ended up 6 from the front, dead centre.

  2. 9/10 for me -

Just missing a total jaw dropper (Rolling Stones / Pink Floyd / P*ahem*e).

The Other is a big mixed bag. There's some good stuff, but the running orders aren't great.

But the taking in Park, WH, The Glade and the rest - there's far more to see (& i would like to see) than I could squeeze in if I was there for a week.

  3. There's been extensive parking the other side of the A361 for 4-5 years now; in fact, prior to getting a hospitality parking pass last year, I'd been the other side of the road every year for about three years.

I was parked in one of the further Pink Car parks last year. It was a good hour walk to Michael's Mead. I did 2 trips last year. Not doing that again.

  4. I found some free BT WiFi just outside of PGA last year, next to one of the large farm buildings (I was there a long time in the queue).

Could be worth a check as a last resort.

  5. My mate danced to the hum of a generator last year.

At Silent Disco a few years ago a chap carried on dancing long after the music finished - and look very confused when his mate tried to explain that it was time to go.

The weirdest act I saw was a Japanese theatre show with a lot of shouting and fluorescent whips. Tricky to describe. Bit scary.

I also found a naked couple asleep in my tent in the wee hours of Thursday. They'd left there wellies outside, which was nice of them.

  6. Hangover allowing, I'll try to get to the New Frontiers debate. Always try to sneak a bit of politics into my festival. And its a series of topics that are going to be v hot over the next few years.
