The talk of Wolf Alice headlining has made me feel a little bit better. I won't be as upset that I could no longer afford to go if they were headlining... I just don't get the hype. Nails down a chalkboard for me.

That's how I feel about Adele

  2. This thread has reminded me that I met Dave last time too.

Didn't know who he was whilst sorting tickets out for him and his Vito pals, but seemed a nice chap.

If Kendrick is playing the superbowl then I'll check him out

  3. No idea who Kendrick is but if he is playing I'll google.

As for Billie, met her last time, seems really nice.

I doubt anyone who goes to Glastonbury really worries too much if the headliners interest them

I think the reason why Macca info is always muddy is because he doesn’t sign until very close to the event.

I don’t doubt that when Neil was told Macca wasn’t booked it was probably true at the time. My guess with acts like this is Glastonbury work off a verbal “yes” that they act wants to do it before contracts are put into place.

I always thought that was the deal with the stones. I know the info was that they signed on the day they were announced, but Glasto must have had a pretty clear indication they were going to sign, and the negotiations must have been very positive for the signing to be pushed out till March.

How do you get the contacts to know Paul McCartney's signing preferences?......that is truly amazing insight

  5. Oasis - the only band that on two occasions I have bought albums in the optimism that it may actually be ok this time, started to listen to a couple of tracks, gave up and never finished.

  6. Labour should be having more fun with this.

I watched a Labour MP yesterday respond to a question of "Will Johnson be PM at the next GE?"

She responded with the predictable stuff that he should resign etc

What I would have enjoyed seeing Labour say would be along the lines of -

I doubt he'll be PM at then next election because of all the lies and incompetence etc

however, I hope he is PM by the as he will return a labour government

but, I fear too much for the damage he could do in the mean time

So you think Glasto should be booking more of Michaels favourite acts but you can’t list any of these acts?

er, how did you get to that

I dont think Glastonbury should be booking more of Michael's favourite acts

What I was suggesting is that there are bound to be acts that MIchael has always wanted......and if they get chance to book them, surely that will be a focus over the next few years

no idea who these would be but would guess they aren't those mentioned right now

Well we know what the 50th lineup was last time so why would they do that now?

The 50th was a celebration but it was a normal Glastonbury lineup with a few extra surprises sprinkled in.

    why.....time/opportunity?
