I guess the only way to get somewhere is by giving it a go and theres no harm in doing it really (well except they are complete shit for the environment and a money grab, but when your selling £600 tickets who gives a shit eh)

World tours are bad for the environment yet here we all are.

Its all well and good making them but they need to have a market and i just don’t think this does. Lots of musicians have been at it recently but nobody actually wants them unless they are stupid limited - the BRITs did it and there was like 250 ed sheeran ones and they didn’t even sell out for like £50 each

It’s the same as any memorabilia. Has to have some kind of meaning or significance.

A forgettable Kings of Leon album being sold as an NFT isn’t gonna be significant at all down the road. But if it was an investment like the first ever *insert artist you think will be massive* debut album NFT limited to 100 then it’s gonna go up in value.

I can see that being the case too with a limited Roxy Music NFT vs. a shitty ‘Ed Sheeran is still around and playing the Brit Awards which is also somehow still around’ token. Their fans probably won’t know what it is but it’s cool that the band are experimenting with it.

I still think one of those WG slots will be Sports Team, plus a female led band.

wWould be ace if it was Self Esteem but she might be too big.

For Thursday night? Probably a fine shout. Definitely not too big. They had The 1975 do it the weekend they were mid-Pyramid.

edit: Just seen everyone already pointed that out. But yeah, not many acts will be too big for it.

Still blocking the exit to her hotel. Whether or not it’s outside or closer they don’t have a right to see her. She doesn’t have to go and visit them especially in a storm.

Apparently they didn’t block the exit and wasn’t too happy!!!

The racial slurs are obviously abhorrent and anyone sending anything hateful to her is absolutely reprehensible.

At the same time, it’s something she obviously does now and then so I can see why they’d be upset. I don’t think we can sneer at the genuine fans who get really excited about their favourite artist and want to say hi and give gifts and whatever they do. It’s part of the whole thing of being a massive pop star. Just a few horrible people ruin it.

  5. Completely understandable move. And it actually bodes well for returning next year.

That date they left in the diary at the Fenway looked a bit like a 'final ever show' type deal in their hometown. Now there are residency shows after it.

For a minute I thought Holly’s debut album was called Nostradumbass. Imagine my disappointment when I discovered it wasn’t.

It might be called that. Not released yet. I just checked and she's selling it on her webstore as 'Debut Album', which I hope is not the name.

    Should be Holly's House.

Wow. This whole time I thought the album was called this is it, not is this it? Mandela effect.

I thought you were talking about MJ.

There's a song on that album called Is This It where Stroke says "is this it" 200 times.

    Still think she’s climbing!

Yes mate. What I meant was she obviously has some backing and isn't going to peak with a pre-debut slot in the John Peel. Not quite a bold prediction.

It's more or less expected that she'll be boosted for a little while, get a number one album, pick up some big slots and then get left in the gutter with Jack Garratt when her label promotes someone else in 2024 instead of her follow-up. But y'know, don't be sad it's over - be happy that it happened and all that.

Holly Humberstone getting (whatever we decide the term for being lowballed is) in 2022 is cool. Makes me think she could come back in 2023 for a bigger slot.

Been listening to her a lot recently and I get that vibe that she’s going to explode. I’m talking global. She’s doing a pretty big US/Canada tour at the mo and apparently got a mainstage slot at Coachella.

Invest in this high growth stock.

She won a Brit Award and performed at the ceremony before her debut album Nostradumbass lmao
