He confirmed he put 10 to 15 letter back to sender so fingers crossed they will turn up at SeeTickets

Who accumulates 10-15 mis-delivered letters that need returning to sender? I think it's happened to me once in my life where I had my neighbours letter come through the door and I just popped it through her letterbox. That's weird, no?

Any tips to avoid lower back pain from standing up for too long?

This is something I was determined to work on for this year's festival because after the last 5 years, its my back that suffers the worst hangover throughout the festival and when I get home.

I think the only real way is to get / keep in shape throughout the year and improve your core strength and stability.

Agree with this. I've taken to doing pilates in the build up to the festival and I'm convinced my core strength and back strength have improved. I'll be interested to see if it actually has paid off. I also plan to take ibuprofen throughout the festival to keep things under control.

  3. Could anyone tell me where to find the Village Inn please? Not come across it before and spotted it on the line up and would be interested to know where it is as there seems to be a bit going on there late at night. So could be an option when looking for something different after dark.

  4. Buy a 5L, collapsible water carrier from Poundland. Fill it up (half way) in the morning and leave in the tent all day to warm up. Come back for supplies, warm jumper for the evening and a wash/hair wash at about 1700. Head out for the night feeling like a King.

You'll be surprised how little water you actually need to wet your hair/rinse your hair when you have to be frugal.

Sure this has been asked before, but we'll be arriving about 6.30ish Weds am into East CP and there are horror stories about Gate B queuing

I've not been for years and there was only Gate C then which you reached down the hill of death thru the CV fields. It's been said there are less queues there, is it for normal pedestrian access or just for CV peeps and how practical is it from the East CP?

For the first 4 years parking in East car parks and arriving around the same time as you've mentioned, we had always entered through gate C and found it a very painless experience. All camped and set up by 1030 ish.

That was until last year when we followed our same routine but got directed all the way to East 3 car park and subsequently through gate B where I can confirm the horror stories of silly queuing systems and chaos, were all true.

Not sure why it happened last year but hoping it doesn't happen again this year. It was a nightmare. This year we are ready to ignore them waving us past the car parks near gate C and go off piste! East 11 East 12 is where you wanna be for Gate C and we'll do whatever we can to get in there.

Surprised Grace Petrie didn't get a full set this year.

Yes me too. She's done that slot several times now and with a few albums under her belt, deserves a full set I think. Happy shes there in some capacity anyway.

  7. Hi Everyone. I know after reading these forums and participating to some degree that you folk will have some advice for people like me.  I'm an introvert on every scale.I'm Someone who loves the company of my close friends but especially my own. Other true intoverts will recognise the difference between shy and introverted and maybe be able to offer some advice for people like me who wish to meet new people but find it incredibly difficult. It'll be my 6th glasto this year and my desire to make new friends is greater than ever before. Anyone know where I'm coming from?

The King Blues are playing, had a chat with Itch last night before their Norwich gig. They are playing the Leftfield stage, absolutely killed it last night so good to have them back.

Yessss. Best news so far. The new EP on Spotify is worth a listen.

I really want to go to them this year, missed previous years. How early do you need to head down there?

I'd say at least an hour before it starts and then be ready to do battle in the queue. I got in once  (2011) and it was brilliant but the hassle of getting in has not made me bother going again. Plus, if you need to go for a wee when you're in there, you have to come out and queue to get back in again. Not worth the hassle imo.

  10. Sorry if this has already been covered but can someone tell me how to report a post from the mobile skin please? I can't seem to find it anywhere since the upgrade and needed it for Mr Social Groups Over 30. Cheers.
