Plenty to do till late. Was a roller disco last year, silent disco each night, also had this feeling djs till late in one of the tents, hopefully they'll be back again this year.
Our tickets came today. Went to the local post office to collect and apparently half of Dronfield is going including the post man.
great thanks, not getting there till friday afternoon, whats it going to be like getting a parking or camping spec?

hi guys, apologies if it's already been asked as I'm too lazy to read through previous pages but what's the late night stuff like and other things apart from the main stages?

What an excellent festival that was! Beautiful site. Very tidy, very chilled. Sound was great. Highlights we're. Soulwax, Anna Meredith, Ezra Furman, Warpaint and pixies.
For a little festival there was so much to do. Loved the gardens with the fire instillations. Late night bar was a good idea. Although I never made it past 2am.
As said above it really was the most idiot free event.
Will definately go again.
only bad point for me was not being allowed to take your own beer in the arena.
you where camped next to us, that's our tent the big grey one

Soulwax easily the highlight for me

also got tickets for The National's Dublin show in September.

Band Of Horses clashing with Car seat Headrest is pretty brutal for me.

Looks like FJM and Ty Segall will almost definitely clash in that case? Tough decision to make there.
how do we know this is the case? just guess work ATM ?
I'm concerned that FJM will clash with Band of Horses

so if we end up with Theresa May you can pretty much guarantee we walk away from the EU without a deal, then can you imagine what Donald Trump would do to her in that situation?
flipped over, dry bummed and our NHS sold for peanuts

Seen some good stuff at Liverpool Sound City at the weekend.
!!! (chk chk chk) and Local Natives where easily the highlights with The Kills, Peaches and Slaves all pretty good as well.

I'm looking for somewhere to park my campervan up on the wednesday the day before the gates open if anyone can help?

Interpol or London Grammar are the 2 obvious ones off the Electric Picnic lineup
-
The Xx are too big and are headlining Bestival so not them
-
are we deffo getting another 3rd headliner and who are the realistic possibilities ?
what Festivals does EOTR usually share headliners with ?

Have to say, I am finding the new FJM album underwhelming. I would say 3 great tracks, but far too many mid-paced numbers of ballads. Not anywhere near as good as Honeybear, nor Fear Fun. 1st 2 tracks are great and then they are much of a muchness.
Still looking forward to his set though.
I've squeezed 4 or 5 I like of the new album but Fear Fun is still way out in front as his best
-
if ticket sales need a boost we usually get another biggie nearer the time like James and Super Furries in recent years
-
yep I don't get him either, will look elsewhere I reckon
-
I listened to the last album twice and never went back to it.
one before wasn't great but did have a couple of half decent tracks
-
should hopefully still be there, 5 down to a 3 could actually work really well if they strip things back a little.
Festival Number 6 - Portmeirion, Wales
in other UK festivals

it's just the Main Arena bit that they do bag checks but they are quite lax going into the Village, The Village and the Woods is the best part of the Festival so spend as much time there as you can.
when the weather is right it's the best Festival in the UK and we've had 3 good and 2 bad ones so far.
