What's the chances of him doing a duet with Michele McManus ?
-
I have it on no authority whatsoever that Rik Waller is being lined up to replace Lightning Seeds.

How many people arent doing fancy dress on Saturday?
Weve left it to the last minute again!!
The ideas either cant be made in time or we cant afford costumes.
Just hoping we arent going to be the only sad sacks there not in fancy dress
-
I got really lucky there...was sitting outside the Calling Out when they came on so caught the whole set...
Its times like that that make festivals so special...Lee Mavers has apparently only done a handful of gigs in ages...
-
One day closer people! Just a quick one, while sitting in camp of an evening. I have a very small fire bucket. Would they mind a little fire in that?
I dont want to be a nuisance though.
-
But what if we want to discuss seperate issues, one thread would just get messy.
-
They've said on fb that Sailor Jerry's is back this year:)

Security were pussy cats as far as I could tell. Had an ongoing battle about sneaking booze in, but the couple of times they caught me they were fine. Had more wins than defeats mind so net gain.
Deffo saw nowt heavy-handed.

Someone posted it on the kendal fb page wall. Think he's involved with that kind of thing but no times given or anything. I guess it'll be one of those 'secret' set things
-
They're apparently performing in the Tim Peaks bit too
-
Can I quickly clear this up though. I don't really lick poo. Posted it to tickle my brother.
My actual fetish is tickling my brother.
-
Have you met Lakeland yet.......
-
I really need to confess my fetish for licking poo. I know it's not right, and most people will disagree with me, but it tastes awesome.
Just hope nobody I know reads this forum.

I'll see what I can do for you lad !

Got the view this Saturday at Wickerman, I'll let everyone know what they were like
-
Well I would heartily suggest a good listen to The View's new album. And even if their output isn't up to the standard of the first album (which in my eyes is a start-to-finish classic) they have had their moments and have a wicked (is that still a word to describe good things?) live repertoire.
Anyway, enough of me bigging up The View. I sound like I work for them.
Just noticed something magic though - Rockaoke on the Sunday. Anyone know where I can get my hands on a Justin Hawkins-style catsuit? I am going to raaaaaawwwwwkkkkkkk the socks off the Houseparty tent. Massively off key styley.
-
That would be good...not massively fussed about seeing them but they're gonna clash with Our Fold so hopefully they'll do another set that doesn't clash

Good evening. Thought I might as well join in the fun. Second KC coming up and I have no doubts that the weather will be even better than last year, no worries. God's a good mate of mine and he told me all about it.
Errrrrmmmmmmmm, top threes then?
Friday - Admiral Fallow, The Correspondents, Little Barrie
Saturday - Sound of Guns, The View, Tribes
Sunday - Twisted Wheel, We Are Scientists, Vintage Trouble
Also, has anyone noticed that The View's website has them at KC for all three days? Prolly means nowt, but here's hoping for more than one performance.
-
Count me in. I was wondering what to do for next year, but I shall wonder no more.
If I bring a load of smelly alkis along with me do you think I could curate my own area? I was thinking of calling it Trampfields and it'll just be a load of blokes in piss-stained trousers sat in carboard boxes drinking cheap booze.
-
I have a KC question if you don't mind.
Upon arrival, is it necessary to get your wristband first or can you set up camp first and sort out the wristband later?
Also, I take it there's no limit on how many times you return to the car for extra beer, food, dry clothes etc?
Ta.

Cheers mate.
Sounds the perfect antidote to a physically draining Glastonbury. I can't wait now - just need to decide whether to see Chase or Status on the Friday, though I'll probably go for neither.

It's going to be my first time at Kendal Calling and I would like a little advice on camping. I notice that there is a quiet campsite and a noisy campsite and I'm not sure which one to choose. I suspect the quiet campsite would be more up my street as after the headliners are finished I'm usually ready to hit the hay, but is it so quiet that you're not allowed to sit around and chat after the bands are finished? And is the noisy campsite like a party all night long? I fear I may be somewhere in the middle.
Also, I notice you can't have fires, but are disposable BBQs allowed?
One more thing - how far is it from car park to campsite?
And one final thing - does anybody know the capacity of this festival?
Cheers all.

Cling film all the way.
