Wolverton Manor, Shorwell provides the backdrop to the Wolverton Folk & Blues Fair featuring bands/artists each year along with locally produced food, children's activities, tea tent and not forgetting the Real Ale tent.

Now in its 14th year, the event returns on Saturday 9th May 2026, the family friendly festival raises funds to support Teenage & young adult Cancer care plus local school, Brighstone Primary. 

Line-up

Special guest artists at Wolverton Folk & Blues this year include....

Award-winning UK bluesman ERROL LINTON and his band.

UK’s finest Bluegrass and Folk stars The THUMPING TOMMYS.

USA Delta-Blues supremo RAY CASHMAN + Lucy Piper

As well as the Main Stage, the popular 'Beer Tent Acoustic Stage' will make a welcome return providing a full and varied programme, featuring some of the best Folk & Blues musicians the Isle of Wight has to offer.

Other Bands/Artists confirmed for Wolverton 2026 include The Gilkicker Weevils, Second Time Around, Milo, Doug Alldred & The Silver Lining, The Bohemians, Feck! The King Bees, Brighstone Barnacles, The Purple Emperors, Berlingo Flick, The Hollow Creek Band, F9 Uking The Blues, Our Annie-R and Moonshine Border Morris.

Tickets

Tickets at £14 are available from local outlets (see below), or available on the gate on the day (£16).

Children under-12 are free. No ticket required but must be accompanied by an adult.

With an IW real ale beer tent, Tea Tent, Bar-be-que, children’s activities, craft stalls and Morris Dancing, The Wolverton Folk & Blues Fair is set to be a great opportunity to enjoy top live music and great festival food, set against the backdrop of the beautiful West Wight scenery.

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses on the island.
