Three days of concerts and ceilidhs, plus music & dance workshops, and dancing displays including Morris, Appalachian, Irish, Scottish, Clog, and more held from Friday 8th until Sunday 10th June 2012.
Oysterband will play at a special Jubilee concert at Allendale Community Centre, Wimborne on Thursday 7th June before the festival weekend. Tickets are priced at £18 in advance, or £20 on door. This is a separate ticketed event and not part of weekend ticket price.
Wimborne Folk Festival was founded in 1980 and has become one of the largest gathering of dance teams and musicians in the South of England.
The event is based on the town centre's streets and attracts thousands of visitors from all over the UK, and from the rest of the world. The festival features both contemporary and traditional music with a mixture of singers and musicians, plus lots of Morris Dancers, ceilidh groups and callers.

The festival campsite is available for weekend festival ticket holders only. It is about 8 minutes walk from the town centre and there is an extra charge for staying there.More information will be here when available.
