Started in 2006 SummerTyne Americana Festival takes place annually at The Sage, Gateshead, Newcastle upon Tyne. The multi-stage event is a celebration of Americana music in and around the spectacular setting of The Sage Gateshead, on the south bank of the river Tyne. The festival plays host to world class Americana acts as well as cutting edge up-and-coming artists.
