The 8th SummerTyne Americana Festival, an annual celebration of Americana music, takes place from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st July 2013 at The Sage, Gateshead, Newcastle upon Tyne.

Line-up

The Mavericks, Heritage Blues Orchestra, Mud Morganfield, Patty Griffin, Matthew E. White, [Shelby Lynne has had to cancel], Martha Wainwright and include Brennen Leigh, Hannah Rickard, Lou Dalgleish, My Darling Clementine, Sam Amidon, The McCrary Sisters, Vera Van Heeringen, Dan Walsh, The Kentucky Cowtippers, Fickle Lily, Big Red & The Grinners, David Broad & Serious Sam, The Mee Kats, The Gathering Sky, Rob Heron and The Tea Pad Orchestra, Gem Andrews Band, John Turrell, Leeroy Stagger, Brennen Leigh, Noel McKay, Bill Kirchen Trio, Mighty Phil Lee, Rainbow Girls, The King Bees, Museum Shiverin' Sheiks, Brendan Croker, Jon Langford, The Kilcawley Family, Willy Mason, Larkin Poe, Elizabeth Cook, Jan Howard, Yolanda Quartey (Phantom Limb), David Wax Museum, Tom Russell, Polly & The Billets Doux, and Steve Riley & The Mamou Playboys.
