Festival on the Moor Weekend 2015


Festival on the Moor's May Folk Weekend takes place at Botton Village, nestled in Danby Dale in the Esk Valley, and takes place from Friday 22nd until Monday 25th May 2015, on the bank holiday weekend.

Line-up

More than 30 acts line up for more than 100 performances over the four days. Among them are Martin Carthy, Coope, Boyes & Simpson, Richard Grainger & Chris Parkinson, Woody Mann, Bonfire Radicals, Jed Grimes, Adrian O, Blue Sun, Blind Panic, Bob Fortune, Chris Milner, Colleens Fancy, Devils Water, Fake Thackeray, Fools Goold, John Ward Band, Kevin Hall, Lore, Over The Yardarm, Paul & Liz Davenport, Peter Taylor, Rebekah Findlay Trio, Renata & Trev, Said The Maiden, Sandra Sowden, Sara Dennis, Steve Dawes & Helen Pitt, and Tom Doughty.

Early bird adult weekend tickets are priced at £45. Concessions (65 & over, unwaged, student) are priced at £40, and child tickets (for those aged 5-16 year) £20. Day tickets are also available priced at £22 for adults for Saturday or Sunday.

On site camping for adults/concessions (age 10 and over) is priced at £15.

The weekend also offers singarounds, craft & music workshops, and an all day acoustic programme and real ale Bar.

As well as music there's historic re-enactors,childrens entertainment, traditional dance, ceilidh, festival food, real ale bar, workshops, meet the artists spots, concerts and arts & crafts on display and for sale, cd sales, and festival T-shirts.

Camping

Festival Campsite 1.2 m from Festival site (Hopper bus between site & main venue) Portable loos. Use of shower available. Part of small working farm and beautiful views of surrounding countryside.
