Festival on the Moor Weekend 2014


Festival on the Moor's May Folk Weekend takes place at Botton Village, nestled in Danby Dale in the Esk Valley, and takes place from Friday 23rd until Monday 26th May 2014, on the bank holiday weekend.

Line-up

Latest additions Blind Panic, Chris Milner, Harlequin Ladies Morris, New Prairie Home Companions, Richmond Castle Clog, Steve Dawes & Helen Pitt, and 'Yokaido' Taiko Drummers

The first acts announced are John Kirkpatrick, The Wrigley Sisters, Sara McQuaid, Richard Grainger, Dick Miles, Kevin Hall, Wetherby Folk Chorale, Monkeys Fist Shanty Crew, Hase Waits, Derek Gifford, Bonfire Radicals, Bob Fortune, Fools Gold, Stormcrow, Peter Taylor, Steve Hicks, and Lynn Goulbourn.

Early bird adult weekend tickets are priced at £45. Concessions (65 & over, unwaged, student) are priced at £40, and child tickets (for those aged 5-16 year) £20. Day tickets are also available priced at £20 for adults for Saturday or Sunday.

On site camping for adults/concessions is priced at £15 and for children (6-16) camping is priced at £10.

The weekend also offers singarounds, craft & music workshops, and an all day acoustic programme and real ale Bar.

Camping

Festival Campsite 1.2 m from Festival site (Hopper bus between site & main venue) Portable loos. Use of shower available. Part of small working farm and beautiful views of surrounding countryside.
