Garforth Arts Festival 2014

The tenth Garforth Arts Festival takes place from Monday 30th June to Saturday 12th July 2014. There are more than 20 events taking place across 2 weeks, from gigs, to theatre, to dance and comedy so there is something for everyone.

Firmly established as a part of the city's annual cultural calendar, the festival brings a variety of music, dance, drama and comedy to the heart of Garforth.

Line up

The acts confirmed for the last day, The Playground Party, are Levellers, The Wonder Stuff, Skatalites, Vieux Farka Touré, and Ellen and the Escapades, Garforth Jazz Rock Band, Hee Haw Sessions, and Rock School In Residence.

Confirmed for other days are The Bad Shepherds, and The Eva Quartet, with more to be announced.

A single ticket for The Playground Party is priced at £26 (£21 concession - under 16 or over 60), a family ticket is priced at £61 (2 adults & 2 children under 16 OR 1 adult & 3 children under 16). Under 5s go free when accompanied by a paying adult.

During the two weeks running up to the Playground Party there are numerous other events and activities taking place which have not yet been announced.

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
