Carnaval Del Pueblo has been cancelled.

A statement from Carnaval Del Pueblo says:

"Carnaval Del Pueblo Postponed to August 2015

Due to tight budgets, demands to support further logistics and Health and Safety requirements we have had to cancel Carnaval del Pueblo and the proposed Carnavalito events, which were scheduled for the 3rd of August and 21st September respectiviely. We apologise for any inconvenience this might have caused. We are, however, pleased to start planning the event for next year at this moment. This will allow us to deliver an event of high quality involving both the community and our stakeholders in 2015.

Carnaval Del Pueblo, Europe's largest celebration of Latin American culture will happen on Sunday 21st September 2014 and returns to its usual home in the newly-refurbished Burgess Park, Southwark.

Line-up

There are no acts confirmed yet for 2014

The event will feature an International stage, Brazilian stage, Andean countries stage, Reggaeton and Latin Hip Hop stage, Funfair, Childrens area, and free salsa dance lessons.

On site

There will also be a wide range of Latin American, Caribbean and Western food and drinks, traditional crafts and Authentic Latin carnival spirit all around!.

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
