Following the collapse of venue London Pleasure Gardens Europe's largest FREE celebration of Latin American culture Carnaval del Pueblo due to happen at the venue this Sunday, 18th August 2012 has today been cancelled.

The event's Facebook group had previously announced they would be seeking a new venue where they hoped to hold an indoor event. However, they have not been able to do so. A statement from organisers released today says:
"The organisers of the Carnaval Del Pueblo apologise but due to unforeseen circumstances with the London Pleasure Gardens going into administration on Monday August 6th, this year's hugely popular event has had to be cancelled, as have all events at the LPG."
The event was set to feature an International stage, Brazilian stage, Andean countries stage, Reggaeton and Latin Hip Hop stage, Funfair, Children's area, a wide range of Latin American, Caribbean and Western food and drinks, traditional crafts and Authentic Latin carnival spirit all around.
